Healing cystic acne is a marathon, not a sprint - and this transformation was worth every step. 🌿
When this patient came to us in February, she was battling painful cystic breakouts with her wedding on the calendar. Her goal: clear, calm skin she’d feel confident in on her big day.
Our approach, in phases:
✨ Phase 1: Stop the breakouts. We focused on cosmetic acupuncture (12 treatments) to address the root cause internally and calm the inflammatory cycle driving new cysts.
✨ Phase 2: Refine the texture. Once her skin stopped breaking out, we layered in holistic microneedling (4 treatments) to smooth the texture — creating the perfect canvas for her wedding makeup.
✨ Phase 3: Fade the discoloration. Post-wedding, we’re continuing to work on the residual pigmentation left behind by those old breakouts.
This was a true team effort with the wonderful Minette Mederios MinetteMMederios, whose regular facials kept her skin supported between treatments. 🤍 Minette is your gal if you’re looking for botanical skincare. Her attention to identifying quality formulations is unmatched.
Cystic acne can feel hopeless - but with the right plan and a little patience, your skin can heal. Book a consult through the link in bio.

The best time to begin cosmetic acupuncture? About 8–12 weeks before you want to see your glow. Which means... NOW. ✨
Holistic facial rejuvenation isn’t an overnight fix - it works with your body, building collagen and circulation session by session. Clients who begin in early fall are the ones glowing by the time holiday gatherings roll around.
Cosmetic acupuncture helps:
🍂 Recover your skin barrier after a summer of sun and travel
🍵 Strengthen your immune system before cold & flu season (yes, these treatments balance your whole body - that’s the beauty of TCM!)
🕯 De-stress with a full hour of nervous system regulation
Whether it’s Cosmetic Acupuncture, Holistic Microneedling, or Wellness Acupuncture, there’s an option that meets you where you are.
Not sure which is right for you? Book a free consult - link in bio.

In Chinese medicine, fall belongs to the Metal element - the season of the Lungs and Large Intestine, the organs of taking in and letting go. Grief is the emotion of fall, which doesn’t mean feeling sad all the time. It means leaning into the parts of me and my life that are ready to be released. Like the trees, we’re asked to draw our energy inward and trust what falls away is making room.
The Lungs also govern the skin and our “protective qi” - which is why this is the season so many of us feel it on the surface: skin dryness, sensitivity, that first sniffle. Caring for the Lungs now is how we stay resourced through winter.
As I grow older and watch my son grow older, I’m often surprised at how sad I feel that he’s growing up. Simultaneously joyful and grieving. Fall lets those two live in the same breath.
If this season has you feeling the shift - in your energy, your skin, your emotions - this is a beautiful time to begin treatment.
Acupuncture and herbs work with synergistically with the season’s inward turn. I’d love to support you. Book through the link in my bio. 🍂

“I want to look rested, not done.”
If I had a dollar for every time a new patient said some version of this in her first visit. 😌
She’s not chasing a different face. She’s not interested in freezing anything or filling anything. She just wants to look the way she feels on her best mornings - clear-eyed, soft, awake.
That’s exactly what cosmetic acupuncture is for.
Instead of working against your face, we work with it - stimulating your skin’s own collagen production, improving circulation and lymphatic flow, and releasing the tension patterns (clenched jaws and furrowed brows) that quietly age us.
In TCM, a bright complexion is a reflection of what’s happening underneath: your blood, your “qi,” your sleep, your stress. So we treat all of it.
The result? Nobody asks what you had done. They ask if you’ve been on vacation. ✨
If “rested, not done” sounds like your whole aesthetic philosophy - I’d love to meet you. Link in bio to book your free consult.

A week in the clinic looks like this 🔥
People often think acupuncture is just for pain, but most of what walks through my door is the stuff that keeps you up at night, wrecks your cycle, or shows up on your skin.
Insomnia, TMJ, PMDD, irregular cycles, anxiety, eczema, a tweaked shoulder from the gym. Same medicine, different doors in.
And yes, plenty of glowing faces too. Cosmetic acupuncture and microneedling are still my most-booked treatments, and the best part is they work on the inside just as much as the outside.
If something on this list sounds like you, the link in my bio is where to start.

Once a quarter, I finally get it together and update this board outside my office 😂
School is back in session! If you’re anything like me (please tell me I’m not alone), you managed to survive summer with your kids (all of it! the fun, the laughter, the chaos, the lack of structure!) and you’re relieved to get back some of your time now that they’re back in school.
I GOT YOU. Believe me, I have my acupuncturist and other wellness support on speed dial and scheduled myself for all of it. It’s time to get back to US, back to OUR routines, back to feeling OUR best so we can be the best moms we can be.

Nobody warned you that perimenopause would mess with your digestion, did they? 🌾
Suddenly the foods you’ve eaten for years leave you bloated. Your energy crashes mid-afternoon. The scale won’t budge no matter what you do.
In Chinese medicine, this makes perfect sense. Late summer is Earth element season - the season of the Spleen, your center of digestion and transformation. And in perimenopause, as Kidney energy naturally shifts, the Spleen often needs extra support to keep up.
When your spleen is depleted, you might notice:
🍑 Bloating and heaviness, even with “healthy” eating
🍑 Stubborn weight changes around the middle
🍑 Fatigue that coffee can’t fix
🍑 Foggy thinking and worry loops
This is your Second Spring - and it deserves more than pushing through. Acupuncture and herbs work with this transition, not against it, restoring the digestive fire that carries you into your next season with strength. And if you’re on a GLP-1, acupuncture works beautifully to support the work that’s already doing.
Late summer is golden hour for the gut - the perfect time to begin boosting digestion. Link in bio to book a free consultation. ✨

Yes, you read that right.
If injectables have never quite felt like you, cosmetic acupuncture might be exactly what you’ve been searching for.
And if you’re in your 40s, your skin is changing. Perimenopause shifts your hormones, and your skin feels it - collagen declines faster, dryness creeps in, and your usual products suddenly stop working like they used to.
That’s exactly why acupuncture shines here. Tiny, painless needles stimulate collagen production right where your skin needs it most.
Circulation improves. Muscle tension softens. Fine lines gently smooth. And because we’re treating the whole you (not just your face), most of my patients also notice better sleep, steadier moods, and fewer of those 3am wake-ups - because we’re supporting the hormonal transition underneath it all, not just the surface.
No toxins. No foreign substances. No downtime. Just your face, more radiant and more rested - because it actually is.
Curious? Send me a DM or book a consultation through the link in my bio. I’d love to meet you.

🌸 In Chinese medicine, menopause is called “Second Spring” (第二春 di er chun)- a season of renewal, when the energy you’ve spent decades giving outward finally returns to you.
But the transition can be turbulent. Hot flashes, night sweats, disrupted sleep, mood swings. in Chinese medicine, these are signs of Yin and Yang recalibrating, and they’re deeply treatable.
Acupuncture helps regulate the nervous system, cool internal heat, and restore deep sleep. Custom herbal formulas nourish Yin and support your body as it finds its new rhythm.
And this isn’t either/or: if you’re considering hormone replacement therapy, or already on it, acupuncture and herbs work beautifully alongside HRT, easing the edges where hormones don’t fully touch and supporting sleep, digestion, mood, and spirit.
You don’t have to handle this transition alone. Your Second Spring is meant to for you to bloom 🌷

Say hello to the Forest Room 🌲
I wanted this room to feel like exhaling. Deep forest walls. Warm wood. Soft light through bamboo shades. A space that lowers your shoulders before the treatment even begins.
Because healing isn’t just about what happens on the treatment table - it’s also your nervous system settling the moment you enter the room. Rest is easier to find in a space that already feels restful.
In Chinese medicine, the Wood element is about growth, renewal, and the quiet strength of trees. It felt right to bring a little forest into the Mission.
Come experience it yourself.
