On May 28th, 2025 was the day we returned to the States after almost four years abroad.
We decided to explore a new state where we had no family or friends and had never been before. We bought a one-way ticket, packed a few large suitcases, booked an Airbnb for a few weeks, and decided to see how it felt.
We were nervous and tired but we trusted that our hearts would continue to guide us in the right direction.
Within a week we fell in love with this state. The people. The nature. The feeling of being exactly where we were meant to be.
I love how every state has its own energy and this one was exactly what we had been searching for.
Within a few months of relocating we bought a house and opened a business.
Change is scary but it can also be beautiful.
Do not stay stuck in a life that no longer feels right. Do not force something that was never meant to be.
People will always have opinions but at the end of the day you are the one living your life. The biggest regrets usually come from the things we were too scared to do or pursue.
I hope some of our random and wild family adventures inspire even a few of the people we have crossed paths with.

He didn’t tell me how to live; he lived and let me watch him do it. RIP dad, you raised me well and I promise I will continue to live my life with as much passion as you did. You would’ve been so proud of me.
Went to an event last night at Cross Fox Farm in Wake Forest and it was such a nice little local find. Pretty property, relaxed vibe, and just one of those places that makes you love finding new spots close to home. 🤍
Always fun getting out and meeting more people in the community.

Birthday trip to Delaware. New memories with friends and the fam. Keeping the fun and the noise.
Watching your kids grow up is the best and the hardest part of being a parent. ❤️
You get to see them become their own little people with opinions, dreams, and personalities that surprise you every day. One minute they need you for everything, and the next they’re doing things on their own and you’re just standing there wondering how it all happened so fast.
It’s beautiful to watch them grow, but there’s a quiet sadness in knowing that every new stage means saying goodbye to the last one.
I love seeing who they are becoming, even if a part of me wishes I could slow time down just a little.
