It’s a simple ritual, but it reminds me that how we begin our day shapes how we experience it.

Behind every dream, there are people quietly helping carry it forward.

The ones who believe before anyone else does.
The ones who show up.
The ones who encourage you when things feel uncertain.

For me, that’s my father.

Together, we traveled across Peru—through the Amazon rainforest in search of extraordinary cacao, into the Andes in search of the finest maca and lúcuma, meeting farmers, visiting processing facilities, sharing meals with beautiful families, and learning the stories behind the ingredients that eventually become KUYU.

Along the way, he was my photographer, my travel companion, my scientific sounding board, and often the one carrying my bags through airports, mountains, and rainforests.

But more than anything, he has always been the person who believes in me.

Thank you for your love, your wisdom, your encouragement, and your unwavering belief in me and this dream.

Today I was feeling nervous about something important for KUYU.
