Can you see the heart-shape? (Fresh freckles, 1st session)
The heart freckle was created from a natural freckle she had, and added pigment around it to create a heart-like shape. She wanted it to look as natural as possible, and we'll be able to further refine the shape at her touch-up appointment. š„³

We wanted to showcase this clip to help better educate our potential clients on why our knowledge of color theory is so important when working on faces. When it comes to cosmetic tattooing, multiple factors will dictate how your freckle tattoo will eventually heal, age, and appear in color. Which is why we work in multiple sessions: we build your freckles up, not attempt to stamp them on. š And as you can see above, the old freckle tattoos were done in one session and not-so complementary in color.
