I have been in the industry since 2012. Since Oct. of 2011 I have volunteered my time with the Makeover Ministry giving back to the Community of San Diego.

I got awarded a recognition of Outstanding Community Service from Senator Joel Anderson. Doing hair and changing peoples lives is my passion, it is what i live for and why i keep my business going.

Especially because it was for one of the dumbest, funniest little videos Iβve ever made π I literally threw together a CapCut with Jack Black and a picture of my suite and somehow THAT is the video that took off and led to an award. I definitely did not see that coming, but Iβm so grateful for it.
But as exciting as this moment was, one of my favorite parts was having my man right there beside me. β€οΈ
Austin, thank you for always supporting every crazy idea, every dream, every long day, every new goal, and every version of me that decides, βYou know whatβ¦ I think Iβm gonna try this now.β π Youβre always in my corner, always cheering me on, and I genuinely donβt know what Iβd do without you.
I love you so much, and Iβm so grateful I get to celebrate these moments with you by my side.

From bob to 24β bombshell π€
This transformation was made with 140g of Christian Michael Hair 24β Genius Wefts in Charlotte β and can we talk about this blend?! The color match is absolutely seamless. β¨
So much length, fullness, and movement while still keeping it soft and natural. Youβd never know where her hair ends and the extensions begin.

This was a brand new client with previous highlights already in place, and somehow Charlotte by Christian Michael matched her existing color so perfectly that we didnβt have to touch her color at all. ππΌ
We added 150g of 24β Christian Michael Genius Wefts to completely transform her length and fullness while keeping everything seamless and natural.
Sometimes the perfect extension match really does all the work. π€

Everyone meet the new salon baby πΆπ€
Just a little heads-up for all my clients: there is officially a pup in the salon now! Sheβll be hanging out with me from time to time, getting used to her new role as the tiniest member of Twisted Root Studio. π
Sheβll of course be kept clean, supervised, and out of your personal space unless you want puppy cuddles β but I wanted everyone to know ahead of time in case you have allergies, a fear of dogs, or simply prefer a puppy-free appointment. Just let me know before your visit and Iβm always happy to accommodate you. π€

Sometimes a blonde doesnβt need a total overhaul β she just needs cohesion. π€β¨
She came in with about 2Β½ inches of regrowth and a beautiful blonde already in place, but her previous highlight placement was more of a βpartial that looked like a full.β The hairline and underneath were bright, while the entire midsection from the lower crown through the nape was left darker with a noticeable line of demarcation from a previous base bump.
And absolutely no shade to her previous stylist β her blonde was gorgeous. She simply wanted everything to flow together a little more seamlessly while keeping that soft dimension and giving her an overall bright, creamy vanilla blonde. π¦
So instead of just chasing the regrowth, we worked through the areas that needed connection, softened that darker band, and created brightness throughout so her blonde looks intentional from every angle β not just around the hairline.
The goal: bright + creamy + dimensional + blended.
Iβd say we understood the assignment. π€πΌβ¨
