Clean bases. Intentional styling. Perfect direction. The little things are the whole thing.
Once you realize retention isnāt some mysterious gift that certain lash artists are born with⦠youāll never hear the end of it from us
It can be learned. It can be troubleshot. And yes, weāre going to keep talking about it.
Your books are full but your bank account is asking questions š
Being booked ā being profitable. Charge for your time, talent, products, education AND the business youāve built.
Lash artists deserve to make actual money. Period.
The answer to bad retention is almost never āmore adhesiveā š
Before blaming your adhesive, look at your attachment, placement, timing, environment + prep.
Retention is a system, not a bigger glue dot.
Doctor said I was lash deficientā¦
They did not build LashCon because they already belonged. They built it because they didnāt. What started as a a need for a voice became a community built around sharing, connection, and making other artists feel seen.
Send this to the person who needs permission to build it differently.

Good lash work deserves good content šš¼ Hereās how to make your lash photos look more elevated, intentional + professional, without buying a new camera.
You can have the prettiest set in the world and bad lighting will still do it dirty š Good, even lighting makes the lashes look sharper, shows the details of your work + instantly elevates the photo.
Donāt make people search for the subject of your photo. A tighter, intentional crop immediately makes your content feel more polished + keeps the attention exactly where you want it: on the lashes.
Not every finished set needs the same laying-down photo. Sit your client up, change the background, get a full-face shot or create something that feels more like beauty content. Variety makes your page WAY more interesting.
Too dark and you lose the details. Too bright and you wash everything out. Before you take the photo, tap your subject and adjust your exposure until the lashes + skin both look clear and natural.
Your photos donāt all need to look the same, they just need to look like they belong to the same brand. Consistent lighting, editing + overall vibe can make your entire feed feel more intentional.
Your content doesnāt have to be just a picture of lashes. Add your tweezers, products, lash trays, phone or other elements to create a photo someone actually wants to stop and look at.
You already put hours into perfecting your sets, give yourself content that actually shows them off. Save this for your next content day + send it to your lash bestie who needs it š¤
