My name is Christoph, owner of Key Hair LLC. I’m a Curl Specialist focused on natural and textured hair. I’ve created this space to feel welcoming, creative, community-based, and professional.

Okay, so hear me out… I’m looking for the “Lisa Bonet” energy to come share my little two-chair studio with me. 🧘🏽‍♂️

Think: Smells like Spirituality, Positive energy, probably loves wearing things made of linen, and understands that the vibe matters just as much as the work. I wanna hear bangles chiming on the other side of that mirror!

But seriously, that is NOT a requirement. All stylists are welcome. I’m ultimately looking for someone who feels aligned with the environment I’ve created at Key Hair: Positive, Professional, Creative, Welcoming, and easy to share space with.

If you specialize in protective styles, braids, natural hair, textured hair, locs, or anything within that world, I especially think we could complement each other really beautifully. 🤎

I currently have part-time and full-time booth rental available, and the chair is available now. I’m meeting with stylists and having conversations because I want this to be about more than filling a chair. I want to make sure the energy and working relationship make sense for both of us.

My New Favorite Styling Product 🙌🏽

Okay, MIZANI … this “True Textures Perfect Coil Oil Gel” has Officially become one of my new favorites. 😍

What I love about an oil gel is the finish: Soft, Shiny, Defined curls with a Flexible cast instead of hair that feels overly stiff or crunchy. It gives definition and frizz control while still allowing the hair to feel touchable and look hydrated.

I’ve been using it on a lot of my clients lately and I’ve gotten some BEAUTIFUL results. Especially on clients with a slightly softer texture who still have a tighter curl or coil pattern.

Now, remember: No Product is Universal. Different textures, densities, porosities and curl patterns are going to respond differently. But when this product works for your hair? Ohhh, it WORKS. 😮‍💨

My clients usually find out I’m a singer somewhere between the shampoo bowl and the conditioner. If Mariah, Whitney, or Brandy comes on, there’s a 99% chance I’m singing along.

Occupational Hazard. 😅

Honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Hair and music have always gone hand in hand for me and getting to share both with the people in my chair is one of my favorite parts of what I do.

There are Moments Behind the Chair that Remind Me Exactly Why I Do What I Do. 🤎

This Beautiful little girl is 3 years old and I had the incredible honor of giving her her very first haircut.

She was Calm, Curious, and Quietly watched my every move from beginning to end. That smile you see at the end of this reel? It was the only one I got and it was EARNED. Little kids don’t fake trust. They give it when they truly feel safe.

One of my favorite parts of this appointment wasn’t just shaping her curls. It was getting to encourage her mom.

Like so many parents, she worried she wasn’t doing enough. But the truth is, she has done an amazing job. Her daughter has healthy, beautiful curls because she’s poured love, patience and consistency into. I simply helped refine her shape, even out some old growth from her baby mohawk, and finished with twists to make things easy at home.

I don’t necessarily consider myself a kids’ hairstylist. But when it comes to Curly Hair, Educating Families, and helping children grow up loving the hair they were born with, the answer will always be Yes.

Thank you for trusting me with such a special milestone. Being a part of her very first salon experience is something I don’t take for granted. ✨
