I’ve gone back and forth on whether I would ever share this publicly.

Honestly, posting it makes me nervous. It’s personal, and I’ve also never wanted sharing my experience to come across as bashing my previous employer. That isn’t the point of this at all.

But after this past week at The Aesthetic Alignment, it finally feels like the right time. This was a really hard chapter of my life, but it’s also an important part of my journey and has shaped so much of the person and injector I am today.

A year ago, I was questioning everything, including whether injecting was even for me.

Today, I realize I didn’t need to become a different injector. I needed to trust who I already was and find an environment that aligned with why I do this in the first place.

And a year later, I feel more aligned with my career, my patients, my values, and my life outside of work than I ever have.

And to every patient who has trusted me with their care, every friend who has supported me, every mentor who has poured into me, and my family who has been there through all of it, thank you. You are all a part of this journey too.
