I just got my new custom BRIDAL BAGS in and I couldn’t love them more! Sooo… each bag is different and I don’t list what’s in each bag because I customize each gift for each of my special brides to make her day the most magical and perfect it can be! ✨

Side note: please don’t judge my hot messness… I was too excited that the bags came in! My hair is in desperate need of tlc, I’ve been up since 4:30am, doing admin and bts stuff today. Whilst setting a fabulous vintage inspired Daphne wig for a client during a rain storm, Halloween music playing in the background… lights started flickering. It happened several times - definitely creeeepy! I’m not normally a scaredy cat but it was the perf combo to give me the shivers! 😳👻🫣

Then Miss Dolly got me with that… we ride at dawn move!!! 🤣 Like, straight out of a dead sleep! 😂👏🏼

Hollywood waves on shorter hair for an extra touch of enchanting glamour ✨

Many years ago, I had the pleasure of personally creating her wedding hair flowers, and this past Saturday I finally got to have this beauty in my chair! She trusted me with her hair for a wedding she was attending that evening, and I was so honored to create these gorgeous Hollywood waves for her.

Shorter hair can be a little tricky when it comes to waves because we don’t have quite as much length to play with, but LOOK at her! We packed in as much beautiful wave action as possible and finished everything with that polished, luxurious Old Hollywood feel I love so much.

She also happens to be the wonderful wedding coordinator at The Veranda here in San Antonio, as well as part of the magic behind Spice of Life Catering catering. If you’re searching for an intimate wedding venue with the most beautiful, cozy, magical atmosphere, you absolutely need to see The Veranda. It personally gives me a little “Shire” feeling every time I’m there. 🌿✨ It’s such a hidden gem right in the heart of San Antonio.

So thankful for her trust after all these years, and even more thankful that she left my chair feeling every bit as beautiful as she looked.

Hollywood Waves for days for my vintage loving bride, Tanya ✨

Waves built to last on her natural hair for her next day wedding. She was definitely a bride on a mission, flying in from LA to get her hair done for the wedding, on to a family dinner and, I’m sure, sleeping sitting up 🤣, to arrive at her ceremony with the elegance and grace of a goddess! She reported that her “hair was flawless for two days and would’ve lasted even longer had she been more careful” and boy was that the best message I could’ve ever received! As a bridal + event hairstylist… I’m always on edge to hear the feedback after the big day! So much fun and satisfaction getting the joyful reports of their next level feelings of gorgeousness on their most special days! Yay!

✨ Victory rolls, vintage glam & one VERY special lady! ✨

This 1940s WWII-inspired photoshoot with San Antonio Photographer was one we’ll never forget!

I had the absolute pleasure of creating these epic victory rolls and vintage glam for the lovely Charlotte as she celebrated her retirement from the Army Reserve. And y’all… hearing about her incredible career as an Army photojournalist, her travels, sacrifices, adventures and successes had us ALL in our feels.

Photography has been a part of Charlotte’s life since she was just 8 years old, and getting to hear some of the stories behind her military career and lifelong love of photography made this session so incredibly special. And getting a peek at some of her AMAZING antique camera collection?! That was just the cherry on top!

I absolutely adored this precious doll and truly cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed our time together. It was such an honor to play a little part in celebrating this beautiful new chapter of her journey.

Her high updo and homecoming glam. She almost made me cry y’all! She’s blossoming into the most beautiful… inside and out young woman. Strong, kind, so thoughtful, head on right, smart, responsible and thirsty for life. She is steadily becoming one of my favorite inspirations.
