I found this picture today and it made me emotional. ❤️
This picture was taken over 20 years ago, when I was in my early 30s, sitting in a treatment room with my little nephew.

When I first became an esthetician, this industry looked very different. And my journey hasn't been a perfectly straight line. I've been in and out of esthetics over the years, but for the past six years, I've been fully committed to the career I chose so long ago.
Today, I have my own business.

And when people see Bella Glow, they see the treatment room, the facials, the skincare, the pretty posts, and hopefully a business that's growing.
What they don't see are the years behind it.

They don't see the slow weeks. The cancellations. The money invested. The continuing education. The second-guessing. The late nights trying to figure out marketing. The days you wonder whether you're doing enough. Or the courage it takes to keep showing up when you're building something on your own.

Small business ownership has humbled me in ways I never expected.

But looking at this younger version of myself reminds me how far I've come.

At 54, I'm still learning. Still growing. Still building. And I'm not finished yet. ❤️
