I am filing a formal complaint against Best Buy (Geek Squad - La Cantera) for broken internal systems that forced the closing of my ticket.
I dropped off my computer tower under my membership a few days ago. Tech "Connor" left a message proposing a replacement tower and data transfer. Returning the call is impossible because local store lines route to an off-site central call center in INDIA.
Because I was unable to reach a HUMAN BEING, I was forced to contact the live web chat, approved the purchase, and stressed I urgently needed the data for a crucial Monday meeting. The agent guaranteed Connor would get the message. He did not. Connor closed my ticket for "no response."
Best Buy cuts off direct store contact, making remote resolution impossible and forcing a 30-minute drive just to talk to staff. I demand a full membership refund and immediate resolution for my data transfer.
