We were honored to be nominated. And we are so incredibly grateful to have been chosen.

It was only last year that Arlo Scarlett was officially classified as a barbershop—so for us to take home the title of “Best Barbershop” means more than we can put into words.

Our barber pours EVERYTHING he has into his work. He dedicates so much of his time and energy to being behind the chair, constantly honing his skills, perfecting his craft, and making sure the people who sit in his chair leave feeling a little more at home in themselves—and in their haircut.

We’ve always known how loved he is. Honestly, you only have to try squeezing into his book to figure that one out. 🫣🫣🫣 But seeing the Eastern Shore show up for him like this really sealed the deal.

And then you all went and spoiled us with not one, but TWO “Best Of” titles?! 🥹

Our owner, Ashley Adamo, was voted Best Stylist.

To those of us who work alongside her, this one feels EASY. We get to see the things that happen when no one else is watching. The way she shows up for her salon. The way she supports her stylists and professionals. The way she leads, teaches, encourages, problem-solves, and somehow continues to give pieces of herself to this place and the people inside it.

Many of us have never experienced an owner or boss quite like her.

We already knew how special she was.

But for the Eastern Shore to write it out in big BOLD block letters?

That’s a different kind of love entirely.

Best Barbershop. Best Stylist.

Two titles that belong just as much to the people who walk through our doors as they do to us. Every appointment booked, every recommendation, every tag, every review, every vote, every person who continues to choose our little corner of the Eastern Shore—you are the reason we get to keep doing this.

Thank you for loving this place and the people inside of it. Thank you for voting for us, for showing up for us, and for supporting us through and through.
