In this video, I’m talking about facelift scar camouflage tattooing and why it can be such a good option for people who feel uncomfortable with visible facelift scars around the ears, hairline, temples, or behind the ears.

Facelifts have become incredibly common, but unfortunately, many people are still left with noticeable scarring afterward. That’s where medical tattooing and scar camouflage can help.

I take my time with every client. I numb the area very well, we go over the color together, and I explain exactly what I’m doing throughout the process. Scar camouflage is usually done gradually over multiple sessions so the color can be carefully layered and adjusted as the skin heals.

The goal is to help the scar blend more naturally into the surrounding skin.

This scar was actually left behind after tattoo removal, and I've been working on it for quite some time. At this stage, we're refining everything - smoothing out the appearance, adjusting the color, adding pigment where it's needed and pulling back color where necessary.
That's the part of scar camouflage people don't always see.

Getting a scar to blend naturally with the surrounding skin can take time. Each session gives me more information about how the skin is healing, how the pigment is settling and where the color needs to be adjusted.
Sometimes we add warmth. Sometimes we neutralize.

Sometimes we soften an area that took a little too much color. It's all part of gradually creating a more natural, skin-like appearance.
We're getting closer and closer with this one.

Hypopigmentation can show up anywhere on the body — and sometimes it’s not just one scar or one spot. Many people have small white or lighter areas scattered across the skin from old injuries, surgery, biopsies, mole removal, dermatology procedures, skin cancer testing, scars, burns, or other trauma to the skin.
