Last year, more than 1,000 people showed up to the showcase concert where the new bands performed. Organizers would love to see the 2,000-capacity venue sold-out this time around, to not only give the finger to leaders who’ve sought to turn the clock back on trans rights, but push back on the World Economic Forum’s 2023 finding that it could take 131 years to close the gender gap.

We lost one of the realest ones the world has ever known.

Rob Sexton from Planet Retro was the protector of the block. Our “dad”. I’ll remember Rob for his absolute realness. His inability to be anything but himself. Straight forward, honest, and my favorite as***le. And if you were one of the lucky ones, you’d sometimes get a glimpse of the total sweetie pie under that tough exterior.

I am looking for a brand designer to help create a cohesive label system for ASTRA & Friends. I already have an existing logo/brand personality and I want to build a repeatable visual identity that works across candles, perfumes, and other handmade products. A system where I can change product names, scent notes, and sizes without redesigning everything.
