Well, Hello, Sunshine!
🌼
This beautiful Calendula arrived from Oshala Farm and you can't help but smile when you're looking at it!

But she's not just a pretty face...Calendula is amazing topically for tissue and wound healing, as well as rash relief. Internally, it's soothing to all of the mucus membranes.

We prepared an oil and an alcohol tincture here, but I also love it as a salve, bath soak, or tea!

Singapore Herbalism Series 🌿

Day 3 included a visit to the Singapore Art Museum, where the Endless Harvest exhibit explored the environmental impact of palm oil and nickel production in Indonesia.

The exhibit also featured interactive installations that used the energy and vibrations of living plants to power machines, encouraging visitors to think differently about our relationship with nature.

The day continued with a stop at a local wet market filled with fresh herbs, plants, produce, and fish, followed by a peaceful tea garden and koi pond surprisingly tucked behind a neighborhood McDonald’s!

Singapore Herbalism Series 🌿

Day 2 was spent exploring some of Singapore’s most iconic landmarks, including Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, and Merlion Park.

Along the way, we discovered incredible tropical plants, a giant plumeria tree, cassia, beautiful sculptures, a traditional Chinese flower calendar, and historic tea kettles that reflect the region’s rich botanical and cultural traditions.

Singapore Herbalism Series 🌿

Day 1 was filled with a look at exploring Chinatown in Singapore, Traditional Chinese Medicine shops, street markets, and the incredible Gardens by the Bay.

Along the way, we came across dried Chinese herbs, Reishi mushroom, Eight Treasures Tea, and allergy support formulas used in TCM for nasal and sinus comfort.

Reishi, also known as Ling Zhi, is commonly used to support stress relief, sleep, immune health, antioxidant support, and heart health. Eight Treasures Tea, also known as Women’s Precious, is a restorative blend used to nourish Qi and blood.

Gardens by the Bay was another beautiful stop, with the Supertree Grove showcasing thousands of living plants through an amazing blend of nature, design, and architecture.
