One of the biggest changes we made wasn’t adding more products, it was laying off the spot treatments and actives (AHA’s) at home.

My client came to me over-exfoliating and using multiple acne products, leaving her skin barrier compromised, inflamed, and unable to heal.

Sometimes we think we need to “fight” acne with stronger products, but in reality, too much exfoliation can make breakouts worse.

We simplified her routine, focused on repairing and nourishing her skin barrier, with monthly microneedling and peel treatments. Once her skin was healthy again, her GlyMed Plus Skincare products responded so much better.
