I recently shared that I reached 25 years licensed and 26 years behind the chair — a milestone that brought up a lot of reflection.

With that reflection comes a decision that hasn’t been easy to make:
I will be closing my salon suite.

This may be a short break, or it may be the beginning of something completely different. I don’t yet know where this next chapter will take me — but I do know I need a pause so I don’t reach a severe level of burnout. My health (mental and physical) has to be my priority at this time.

This career has been filled with ups and downs, reinvention, and thousands of conversations and connections that I will forever be grateful for. You didn’t just sit in my chair — you shared your lives with me, and that has been an honor I’ll never take lightly.

My dream started during career day in high school. My 16-year-old self would be incredibly proud of what we built — and she’d also understand why it’s time to rest.

Thank you for walking with me through this beautiful, life-shaping chapter. Whatever comes next, I carry this community with me. 🤍 I am truly grateful for every single person who has been a part of this journey.

Today marks 25 years since I passed my state boards and officially became a licensed cosmetologist — after a full year of cosmetology school and a dream that started on career day in high school.

Twenty-six years behind the chair means thousands of conversations, countless connections, big life moments shared, tears, laughter, growth, setbacks, and wins. This career has walked with me through every season of my life, and I’m incredibly proud of the resilience and heart it’s taken to stay.

My 16-year-old self would be so proud.
And today, I’m taking a moment to be proud too.

Thank you to every client, friend, and supporter who has been part of this journey. You’ve made this career more meaningful than I ever imagined. 🤍
