I’m looking for someone passionate about the industry who wants to learn, strengthen their skills and eventually have the opportunity to build their own chair and clientele.

Looking for someone who is:
• Available daytime Tuesday–Friday
• Professional, reliable & motivated
• Slightly flexible with hours
• Experienced with shampooing — a must
• Color application & blowout experience — a plus

Revive Salon is looking for an ambitious part-time salon assistant who wants to learn, grow, and take their skills to the next level.

You’ll work closely with Kelly, assisting her in her private salon suite, with occasional opportunities to assist 1–2 other experienced suite owners.

Some experience with blowouts and color application is needed, but Kelly is willing to train and mentor the right person.

With over 27 years behind the chair, Kelly loves sharing her knowledge of cutting, coloring, styling, and the techniques that come from years of hands-on experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build confidence, strengthen their skills, and continue growing as a stylist.

Revive Salon, located inside Sivana Suites, is looking for a part-time licensed cosmetologist to join our private boutique salon suite and assist a busy stylist specializing in color, precision haircutting, wigs, and hair loss solutions.

Responsibilities include:
• Assisting with hair color applications
• Shampooing clients
• Blowouts
• Light salon cleaning and organization
• Helping provide an exceptional client experience

Requirements:
• Must have a New York State Cosmetology License
• Must have some salon experience
• Flexible availability on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and/or Fridays
• Dependable, professional, and eager to learn

Experience with color services is preferred, but we’re happy to train the right person who is interested in expanding their skills in advanced color, wigs, and hair loss solutions.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a private boutique salon suite, providing personalized, one-on-one client care while learning from a stylist with over 25 years of experience.

Part-Time Licensed Cosmetology Assistant Needed - St James

Revive Salon, a boutique salon suite inside of Sivana Suites in St James, is seeking a licensed cosmetology assistant to support a busy salon environment.

Position Details:
• Approximately 10–12 hours per week
• Primarily Thursdays and Fridays
• Hours are typically 11:00 AM–5:00 PM, with the occasional day extending until 7:00 PM
• Some flexibility with scheduling is appreciated

Requirements:
• Current New York Cosmetology License
• Experience with professional shampooing necessary and blow-drying experience is a plus but not required
• Reliable, professional, and personable
• Comfortable working in a boutique salon suite setting
• Enjoys working with an established, mature clientele

You will be working alongside a busy stylist with over 25 years of experience as a colorist and hairstylist, that specializing in precision short hair cutting, hair replacement solutions, and personalized client care.

Revive Salon also specializes in personalized hair services, including wigs, toppers, hair extensions, and alternative hair replacement solutions. An interest in the hair loss and hair replacement industry is a plus.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of the beauty industry but prefers a smaller, part-time schedule. It may be a great fit for someone returning to the industry, balancing family life, or looking to supplement their current income.

You will primarily assist one busy stylist, with the opportunity to occasionally support two additional experienced stylists within the salon suite as needed.
