My name is Jared Halgren, a LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist), servicing the St. I pride myself in my professionalism and ability to adapt to your needs as a massage client. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and High Honors from Everest College in the fall of 2009. I had an excellent experience doing an Internship with the Portland Timbers soccer team that same year. Years ago when I hurt my back, I was referred to a therapist who did Home Massage. I couldn't leave the house, she came to me, set up her table in the comfort of my own home and gave me a great, relaxing and pain-relieving massage! How convenient I thought! THE BEST PART of an in-home massage is YOU DON'T HAVE TO DRIVE HOME AFTER! Years later, now that I'm a therapist, I've decided to offer the same service to others. This was just a snippet. The full review was much longer. One of the most professionally rewarding sessions I ever had.
The client had a lot of trauma. And broke down into ugly crying at the end.
It was so hard to watch another human being go through that. While simultaneously being a sacred experience to witness.
So truly amazing. That something like body work and having somebody who's competent and who cares about people, to hold a safe space and help guide your body towards increased healing states ♥️

I LOVE what I do for a living. One of my callings in life.
A combination of physicality, therapy, healing, nurturing, giving personal attention, human touch, all go into the magical concoction of what makes my approach to bodywork so rewarding to myself and especially my clients.
My background in sports, fitness, being curious and studious, passionate, caring, strong but crazy soft hands 😂 all have come together over these many years to provide people with the experiences they deserve while taking time out on a massage table. 💯 (One of my massage friends said one time it's like being massaged by a really strong kitten) 😂

Turns out ignoring your body is not a particularly effective long-term wellness strategy.
My own before-and-after reminds me that the body adapts to what we repeatedly give it.
Training. Food. Rest. Stress. Recovery. 🏋️🥩🛌
All of it counts.
