Between waxes or sugaring, bikini care doesn’t need to be complicated.

Give freshly serviced skin a little time, then keep your routine simple: exfoliate gently, moisturize daily, and use targeted ingrown care where you need it.

The goal isn’t to scrub more — it’s to stay consistent with the right steps between appointments.

Save this for your next wax or sugaring appointment, then head to scrubmegood.com for the full Bikini Care Between Waxes or Sugaring guide.

SAVE THIS if you struggle with selling retail products.

Selling retail products in your studio doesn’t need to feel “salesy”. If it feels that way, you’re doing it wrong.

Making product recommendations and having those products right there for your clients to purchase is an extension of the service you just provided.

It should feel like education, not sales.

Your shower routine doesn’t need to be complicated.

Start with a good cleanse. Add exfoliation a few times a week. Keep the tools you actually use within reach.

That’s it. Simple, consistent body care that’s easy to stick with.

Choosing a body scrub doesn’t have to be complicated.

Start with what you actually enjoy: fragrance or fragrance-free, fresh or fruity, warm or cozy, seasonal or year-round.

And if you love a full routine, look for a scent you can pair with lotion too.

The best scrub? The one you’ll actually look forward to using. 🤎

Why do we pair scrub + lotion?

Scrub helps take care of the dry, rough-feeling buildup. Lotion follows with the moisture your skin needs.

Two simple steps that work better together: exfoliate + moisturize.

Especially as cooler, drier weather rolls in. 🍂

How often should you exfoliate your body?

For most people, 1–3 times per week is a good place to start — but your skin gets the final say.

If you notice tightness, redness, stinging, or extra dryness, back off. Gentle exfoliation + moisture usually beats scrubbing more often.

If we were building a fall body-care shelf, we wouldn’t just swap summer scents for pumpkin and call it done.

We’d build it around the routine your skin actually needs as the weather starts to change:

Start with body wash for a simple daily cleanse.
Add exfoliation a few times a week to help with rough, dry-feeling skin.
Follow with moisture using lotion, body oil, or body butter as the air gets cooler and drier.
Then layer in the fall scents so the shelf feels seasonal without losing the purpose behind each product.

That’s how we’d build a fall shelf: cleanse, exfoliate, moisturize, then make it smell like fall. 🍂

The goal isn’t just a prettier shelf. It’s a routine that actually makes sense.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what we’re actually here for.

I’ve never been a fan of hustle culture. Do I believe in hard work? Absolutely. I’ve worked hard my entire adult life.

But I don’t believe exhaustion should be a status symbol.

I don’t believe being constantly busy means you’re successful. And I definitely don’t believe the reward for making more money has to be finding more expensive ways to spend it.

Over the last few years, I’ve become much more interested in making my life smaller in some ways so it can feel bigger in the ways that actually matter.

I drive an old, paid-off car. Last year, we downsized into a small townhome. There are plenty of things we could afford that I simply don’t want badly enough to trade more of my time for them.

And I think that’s the part we don’t talk about enough.

Everything has a cost beyond the price tag.

The bigger payment may mean more hours worked.
The more expensive lifestyle may mean less flexibility.
The constant upgrading may mean you can never quite say, “This is enough.”

I want to work hard because I’m building things I care about, not because I’ve created a life that requires me to run at full speed forever just to keep it afloat.

I still like nice things. I still spend money on things that make me happy. This isn’t about deprivation.

It’s about being intentional about what is actually worth trading my time for.

Because at this point in my life, time feels a whole lot more valuable than stuff.

And I’d rather have enough…with room to breathe.
