Eczema is more than dry, itchy skin. It can affect sleep, confidence, daily routines, and entire families.
October is Eczema Awareness Month, and throughout the month we’ll be sharing practical skincare education, real experiences from our community, and some of the reasons Abby Rose exists in the first place.
Because while everyone’s eczema story is different, no one should feel like they’re navigating it alone.

October 1st marks the beginning of Eczema Awareness Month, and this month is especially meaningful to me.
Behind every person living with eczema is a story. A child who just wants their skin to feel better. A parent in search of a gentle solution. Someone tired of wondering what will make their skin flare next.
Abby Rose Skin Care began with a story too.
Years ago, my daughter was struggling with eczema and I couldn’t find something as basic as a moisturizer that would soothe her skin without causing more irritation.
So I started researching natural oils and botanicals known for soothing eczema and ended up making her a balm. When I saw how well it worked for her, and then friends and family, I knew I wanted to share it with others navigating the same frustrations.
That little balm eventually turned into Abby Rose Skin Care, named after my daughter, Abigail Rose.
What began in my kitchen for my daughter has grown into a mission to help others feel more comfortable in their skin too.
This Eczema Awareness Month, I’m reminded of why Abby Rose began and why we continue to do what we do. 🤍

POV: You just found out Abigail isn’t my only daughter. 😆
If you follow me here, you probably hear me talk about Abigail the most because so much of what I share is connected to my skincare business and her journey with eczema. But today, I want to celebrate all three of my daughters.
They are each completely different, each uniquely themselves, and each makes me so proud.
