To my wonderful clients- what a crazy year! Like many of us, I have done a lot of self reflecting and have made a decision to change career paths. Before I became a hairstylist I was a preschool teacher and I have fallen back in love with it during the CA salon shut down. I love you all and want to continue my friendships with your beautiful faces. Please don’t feel shy to reach out to me if you have any questions, need a referral, or just want to say hi! I hope you all understand as I figure out this journey called life. Best wishes 💜 Jenna

I have a new salon home! It’s called Mosaic and it’s on K st and 22nd! I want to thank all of my clients for your patience and understanding while I try to make my dream of working hair in the city come true💜 I will be contacting my clients on my waitlist in order of who had to cancel their existing appointments first before I contact clients who have been asked to be put on my waitlist. Thank you for your patiences and if we have been in contact in the last few months about booking I will be contacting you soon! Can’t wait to see your pretty eyes and masked faces really soon!

Here are the new salon guidelines for California. I encourage anyone who plans to get their hair done soon to read this and be respectful of the guidelines and cooperate with your stylist 💜

Roots, no make up, hairy eye brows, no lash extensions. Just me in my natural state. I want to encourage everyone to take this time to embrace your natural beauty. I got in to this industry not because I think people can’t have gray hairs. I want to make people feel beautiful. Well right now I want you to know you ARE beautiful. You don’t need artificial beauty. If you believe you do, please take some time to re-evaluate and think about WHY your thinking pattern is telling you that. Culture and beauty rituals are important to society BUT they are not essential. We WILL survive having roots and split ends. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE doing my clients’ hair and gossiping with them but my life and the lives of those I love (including my clients) will always be the most important thing to me. I look forward to safely doing everyone’s hair, when the time is right. But sadly that time is not now and it’s okay to grieve that. But know it is temporary, and keep reminding yourself “this too shall pass.” I will see you all soon. Much love to you all 💜
