This wasn’t just another city I wanted to travel to for work. New York City was a dream place for me to live, establish myself, and build something meaningful.

The vision came to me in 2023, but it was meant to become my reality in 2026.

I believe deeply in divine timing. God and the universe have shown me again and again that the timing of my life may be beyond my understanding, but somehow, it always unfolds better than I imagined.

If only I knew in 2023 what it would take to get here.

Sometimes we’re given a vision without being shown the entire journey. Maybe because if we knew how difficult the road would be, we would be too afraid to begin.

The last two and a half years were beautiful, challenging, exhausting, and transformative. I had to continue building Sacramento, create the location and aesthetic I had always envisioned, grow Los Angeles, and keep working toward NYC even when NYC still felt so far away.

But somewhere along this journey, I discovered one of the qualities I admire most about myself:

I don’t give up.

I don’t give up on my goals or my dreams until I find a way to make them my reality.

Your dreams are precious.

A dream is supposed to feel a little unreachable. That’s what makes it a dream. And instead of finding all the reasons why something won’t work, start asking yourself:

How can I make this work?

Find a way.
Try. Fail. Learn. Try again.
And keep going until one day, the life you once imagined is the life you’re actually living.

The hardships give the dream its value. And when you finally stand inside something you once only imagined, you understand why the journey was worth it.

We spent hours driving around Sacramento, handing out hygiene bags to as many people as we could. Seeing the gratitude, kindness, and genuine smiles on their faces was a reminder that even the smallest act of kindness can mean everything to someone who is hurting, feeling hopeless, or forgotten.

The passion for giving began when I was 17, my aunt would take me to church charity events where hundreds of volunteers came together to pack and distribute bags filled with food, clothing, and everyday essentials. Watching complete strangers dedicate their time to helping others left a lasting impression on me.

Years later, in my 20s, I saw a friend and his girlfriend take off their own shoes and give them to people walking barefoot on the streets. People whose feet were swollen, injured, and infected. That moment stayed with me. Those experiences taught me to pay closer attention to the struggles people face every day and if you see a problem, you can choose to become part of the solution.

My family and I are incredibly grateful that we can give back to our community, spread compassion, and support others in meaningful ways throughout this lifetime we all share.

Today, I’m putting together 100 hygiene bags filled with everyday essentials for those experiencing homelessness. It’s my small way of helping someone feel a little more comfortable, a little cleaner, and reminding them that they are seen, valued, and cared for. 🤍
