Our fall canning class gathered under the grape arbor for Reclaiming Kitchen Wisdom, and with Judith Yisrael teaching we canned beets and tomatoes and pickled garlic and onions, and the lessons went hand to hand around the circle.

Ancestral intelligence beats trend cycles, and the kitchen is one of the places where that intelligence lives and where we keep it in practice season after season.

Education comes alive in application, and our educators translate wisdom into applied teaching at every stage, so the learning at every class happens in the hands of the people who came to learn.

This is how we pass on what we know, together, and in right relationship with the harvest and with each other.

Before the day begins, the Botanical Reset gives you a few slow minutes with the body that carries you, and those minutes turn your care into medicine.

Cleanse slowly with our Calendula + Lemongrass Soap, made with calendula petals from our own farm, and rinse as your morning begins, and while your skin is still slightly damp apply our Cocoa + Shea Whipped Body Butter, handcrafted in small batches, and take one breath.

Then say the words with us: "I nourish what carries me."

Before you leave the house, finish with a few sprays of our Hair & Body Serum, a blend of coconut, jojoba, h**p seed and grapeseed oils with vitamin E and the essential oils of rosemary, peppermint, tea tree and bitter orange, made for your hair and your body alike.

Your skin needs respect, and care is something you practice, and every morning you come back to this ritual you reclaim what our grandmothers already knew.

Healing is personal and it grows in community, so share your moment with us: "Today's act of uprising: ..."

The hoop house project is underway, and it will extend our season because the area freezes, and the hoop house is how we meet that situation with a plan.

Every day of this build starts at the workbench, where the drills are charged, the batteries are ready, and the sockets go back in their case, because the work we do on the land depends on tools that are cared for and ready when we need them.

The hoop house is infrastructure, and we build it the way we run everything at Yisrael Farms: with clear roles, documented workflows, and accountability loops that keep the whole project moving.

Excellence is a form of respect, and we practice it with the land, with each other, and with every piece of this build.

Shared labor means everyone on the farm knows how the whole system runs, from the shop bench to the field.

The answers are in the soil, and some of them are found around the fire, where wood and stone and a cast-iron pan of greens bring people together at the end of the day.

We usually cook lamb outdoors, which asks for patience and attention and many hands.

Cooking outdoors teaches the same lesson the land teaches us every season: that the Earth is a living system with needs and we must cooperate with those needs if we plan to live in right relationship with her.

Agriculture is a culture, and it is strongest when people work together communally and as family, from the field all the way to the fire and the shared meal.

Ancestral intelligence outlasts every trend cycle, and the fire keeps that wisdom in our hands and in the hands of the next generation.

Today, Botanical Uprising is at the Midtown Farmers Market in Sacramento, and we are setting up our table with handcrafted, small-batch botanical care for every woman ready to make caring for her body a daily act of reclamation.

Market day is where you can meet the people who make Botanical Uprising and ask how each piece is made and how to bring it into your own ritual.

Ritual turns minutes into medicine, and healing is personal.

Flashback Friday to the classes of children who have come out to the farm, and to the way every one of those visits brings us right back to why this work has always belonged to families.

They walk through the food forest, feed the chickens, find the worms at work in the compost pile, and gather around the fire pit, and by the end of the day they can see how everything on the land is connected.

The answers are in the soil and the Earth is a living system with needs, and the earlier a child learns that we must cooperate with those needs, the sooner that child grows into a steward.

Agriculture is a culture, and it is strongest when people work together communally and as family, which is why education at Yisrael Farms stays rooted in the land itself, where every lesson is put to use.

Our mission is to cultivate sovereignty through land stewardship by growing life-giving food, developing capable stewards, and building community resilience, and a day with a class on the farm is where that mission takes root.

Every time you care for your skin, you are practicing a daily act of reclamation.

So many women have been taught to outsource their care to chemicals and convenience and to see their bodies as a problem to fix, and at Botanical Uprising we believe your body deserves respect and real nourishment.

Our Cocoa and Shea Whipped Body Butter is handcrafted in small batches, and it is made to be part of a ritual, something you do with presence and intention and never in a rush.

Apply it while your skin is still slightly damp, take one slow breath, and say it quietly to yourself: I nourish what carries me.

We invite you to bring one home for yourself and one for a woman you love, because healing is personal but never solitary.

The Earth has music for those who listen.

The peacocks you're hearing aren't ours — they belong to the neighbors. But their call travels right across our land, and it's become part of the soundtrack of our mornings. We didn't buy it, plant it, or earn it. It just carries over, free.

A community that knows how to listen to the land, and to the people around it, is resilient and can stand the test of time.

Before you work the land, you learn to listen. It's been speaking the whole time; most of us are too busy to hear it.

As we move into the "fall" we practice listening — and we transition our garden practices to match.

This isn't just a black bar of soap. It's a deep clean the earth designed

Rosemary Charcoal.
Two plant allies doing real work:

Activated charcoal (from coconut shells, steam-activated — no chemicals) draws out the dirt, oil, and buildup the day leaves behind.

Rosemary — antiseptic, protective, scalp-loving — with a fresh, woody-herbaceous scent that wakes you up in the shower.

Handcrafted in small batches.
All-natural.
Vegan.
Rich lather most handmade soaps never reach.

Clean the way it was meant to be — plants, not synthetics.

Grow Your Skin, Grow Your Soul.

Same land. Same hands. Different word — because the goal changed.

Survival is reacting to what's taken from you. Sovereignty is owning what feeds you. That's not a rebrand of struggle — it's what struggle was always building toward.

(A)ncestral (I)ntelligence beats trend cycles.

We steward systems that nourish and deal people correctly.
