This is what Oak Park First Fridays is all about.
One evening where our neighborhood comes alive. Local businesses open their doors, families fill the sidewalks, vendors line the streets, and our community comes together to support one another.
I spent some time visiting a few of our amazing neighboring businesses that will be participating, and while this video doesn’t capture everyone, it’s just a glimpse of the incredible people and businesses that make Oak Park so special.
Stop by World Class Faders & World Class Stylers to grab a FREE school supply pack for the kids (while supplies last), enjoy a FREE popsicle, then take some time to explore the entire district. You never know what new favorite business you’ll discover.

Join us for Oak Park First Friday on Friday, August 7 from 5:00–8:00 PM and experience one of the best evenings our community has to offer.
First Friday is all about bringing neighbors, families, and local businesses together. Walk the district, discover amazing small businesses, meet local entrepreneurs, enjoy great food, shop with local vendors, and celebrate everything that makes Oak Park special.
We’ll be celebrating at World Class Faders & World Class Stylers, and this year we’re excited to partner with the Oak Park Business Association to give back in a meaningful way.
Here’s what we’ll have:
* 100 FREE school supply packs for kids of all ages (while supplies last)
* FREE popsicles to help everyone beat the summer heat
* A fun, welcoming atmosphere where everyone is invited
Come by to say hello, then spend the evening exploring the rest of Oak Park. Visit the other incredible businesses, support local vendors, and experience the community that continues to make this neighborhood thrive.
