💪 Fun Muscle Facts 💪 Hamstrings can often cause low back pain!

The Hamstrings:

Biceps Femoris
Semimembranousus
Semitendinosus

While not as massive as, say, the Quadriceps group, the Hamstrings are powerful hip extensors.

All 3 have a common attachment at the lower end of the Sacrum. [Ischial Tuberosity]

If hypercontracted, they can cause the sacrum to over extend, putting pressure on the lower back and resulting in low back pain!

You should never "skip" the legs in your massages if you suffer from low back pain! And, it isn't 'always' sciatica causing the pain.

A skilled MT will look at the entire muscular system like a personal puzzle to attempt to solve.

Just amazing.
Arm photo is post surgery work with the entire system swollen as a result of trauma.

Facial work; client is concerned mainly with face/jaw/neck swelling, but the entire system was able to be cleared.

Ahhhh Mayyy ZING!!
