Seven years ago today, I took my very first paying client in a space of my own.

August 13, 2019. Shoutout to for making the drive to see me 🥰

That tiny lil treatment room at the beginning of these photos was Skin Deep.

120ish sq. ft. It wasn’t particularly fancy. I didn’t have my coffee bar, a sauna, or my beloved Hydrafacial machine yet. I definitely didn’t have all the answers or all the products I wanted 😂

But it was MINE.

And someone walked through that door, got on my treatment table, trusted me, and paid me to do this thing I loved and had decided to build for myself.

Seven years later, there have been different rooms, different versions of Skin Deep, different versions of ME, endless education, a LOT of equipment, so.much.decor, a big move, contractors 😫 (‘nuff said lol), and approximately nine thousand merchandising rearrangements 😂

The spaces have changed a lot. The heart of it really hasn’t.

I wanted to be really good at what I do. And I wanted people to feel genuinely cared for while I did it.

I wanted a place where you could walk through the door, put your phone down, exhale, and let somebody else take care of you for a while. Where results and rest didn’t have to be mutually exclusive.

Looking back at that first tiny room and then looking at what Skin Deep is now is pretty wild.

I built this 🥹

But I only got to keep building it because people kept walking through my door.

So to everyone who has trusted me with their skin and lashes, followed me from one version of Skin Deep to the next, referred a friend, bought a product, rebooked, left a review, or simply cheered me on, thank you. Thank you for letting me keep doing this for seven years🖤

And because August 13 is the day it all officially began, today kicks off a lil anniversary celebration…
