Yesterday I was shown a photo of a woman as a suggested friend request. It immediately brought back one memory that has apparently stuck with me for 12 years.
She was a member of the corporate executive team and seated at our dinner table. It was the year I won Woman of Enterprise and had to give a speech to a room of maybe 500+ people.
I remember the first thing she said to me after my speech was "wow, your mouth was so dry. I so badly wanted to go up there and give you a bottle of water." I said "yeah, I'm on a lot of medication." That was the first thing that came to mind (which was actually true from the brain surgery pain) but I wish I could go back to that moment and stick up for myself better.
Moral of the story: don't be mean. Your words can stick with someone forever. Especially women to other women. Be kinder. Girls and women at all ages need to learn to cheer each other on better.

Great for quick, easy eye looks
I really liked this shadow stick! My favorite part is that the primer is built right in, so I didnโt need an extra step before applying. It went on really smoothly with no tugging or patchiness. The blender on the other end is super handy, especially if youโre on the go. I could swipe it on, blend it out, and be done in a minute without needing brushes. Definitely a great one to toss in your bag.
I received this product for free from Influenster and Revlon in exchange for my honest review.

Can we talk about how WILD social media algorithms are? ๐
Last week my first makeup reel went viral on Instagram. Itโs almost at a million views.
The only other time Iโve gone viral? A reel about Rob and me that was at 23 MILLION views last time I looked. ๐คฏ
Hereโs the part that blows my mind:
๐
THE LAST 12 MONTHS
๐ 526K views
โ 389 new followers
๐
THE LAST 7 DAYS
๐ 1.03 MILLION views
โ 782 new followers
One week. Double the views. Double the followers. ๐
Itโs exciting and frustrating at the same time, because you never really know what worked.
Was it the audio? The length? The time I posted? The hook? The caption? The hashtags? ๐คทโโ๏ธ

I used to picture courage as some big, loud moment. For me it was usually just deciding to get out of bed and try again, quietly, for a long time.
What did courage actually look like for you, the last time you needed it? ๐

Contour, concealer, blush, highlighter: in that order, every time. Which one trips you up the most?
Monday reset. ๐ค For a long time, my Mondays started with dread. Depression, a business I'd lost, a year I didn't think I'd get through. Now I start them by asking one question: what's one small thing I can do today that my future self will thank me for?
It doesn't have to be big. Some weeks it's a workout. Some weeks it's just getting out of bed and showing up. Both count. ๐

Someone counted me out more than once before this. I'm still here. ๐
Tag someone who's still here too, after being underestimated.
I love this perspective. ๐ญ I don't think bad things happens to good people. I think bad things happens to everyone, and it's how good people respond that makes them good. ๐ค
