Day 2 in NYC was a good oneeee 🗽✨

We spent the day at the new L’Oréal ProLab diving into a new color technique, and I also got some really good insight on social media that had me rethinking how I create, connect, and show up online. Definitely one of those training days where you leave with way more than just technique.

And THEN… first time at The Edge 😮‍💨🏙️
The views were crazy, the height was a little disrespectful 😂 but it was such a good way to end the day.

Learning, creating, getting inspired and experiencing NYC at the same time… I’ll take it especially with the Ulta Beauty artist collective!!!🤎

Let’s rewind this back to beginning! I’m still in awe and living for the Black Beauty Roster first ever hair show! It was an honor to be on stage for the first time ever with SEAN and Vernon François representing black excellence in the beauty industry! Our models literally are still the talk of town! YALL were amazing fatim seck Samira S. | Model | Founder Trinity🧿 thank you for all yall did! And Quiarah Shing | Pennsylvania for your amazing makeup artistry! And thank you Ulta Beauty for this amazing opportunity once again!!!!!

The short blonde unleashed a next level in me but the curly blonde has the beauty streets talkin! Not in a bad way. But it’s clear to me I’ve just been slowly owning my space. I never moved on others timing anyway. I’m always Too slow or too fast. The surface is all that’s seen and I’m fine with that because I NEVER EVER EVER looked like what I’ve been through!

I’m good, I’m growing, and Glad this weekend gave me the validation I needed personally.

This here is personal, and I promise it’s happening, but when I move it won’t be a doubt about what type of time I’m on.
