I saw a trend going around of beauty pros showing what they did before being your providers. So I figured I’d drop some lore 🤣 and no I’m not embarrassed at all — make sure you read all the captions.

Funny story: my bf got me that necklace for my bday and one of the old ladies said “he would give you a pearl necklace” I didn’t get it at the time. But it was a s*x joke.

Fun fact: this Wegmans is old as s**t & grandfathered in or whatever. So they don’t change the store. So even tho I worked in subs I also had to do deli and prepared foods bc everything was just one department. Olive bar sucked ass.

Yes. I dressed like this. Regularly. IYKYK. I’m Bulma. But really they made us dress up every day for the month of October. And we couldn’t repeat costumes. At one point I was literally just pulling s**t out of my ass. Fun fact: I STILL have that lanyard with my key holder tag.

Fun fact: I have a duel degree in graphic design & graphic arts technology with an unofficial minor in fine arts. I mean it was my du***ss fault for going to school for art I guess. But it really sucked graduating and literally everyone was like “ill just use WIX to build my website”

There’s lots to unpack here. But that’s for another time 🤣 but for the most part I liked this job. It was a great starting place for me because the education was free. And I really got to understand how to run a salon.

Here’s the fun fact, the medspa is where I met Jenny from Jenny Snyder - Licensed Holistic Esthetician and that’s about the ONLY good thing lol that place was TOXIC and was ultimately the straw that broke the camels back. This place is what made me decide “if I’m doing this, I’m doing it on my own, and I am going to create a safe space for estheticians.” I literally had to work two additional jobs because “they” never wanted to pay me.

TRULY words cannot express how much I love working with each and every one of you. You’re not just clients, you’re friends. No literally some of you are my actual friends who I hang with now. But I wouldn’t be here without your support and I hope you continue to give it so I can continue to help people in their skin journey & lift some bomb lashes & brows.

I have been personally victimized by every single one of these.. that’s why I’m invincible. 💪🏻
