Yap 32/40. More leads is not the answer. I’m saying that as someone who just increased her ad spend this month.

I asked my team this week, what if Facebook disappeared tomorrow. What would we actually have left.

More leads will not fix a business where nobody knows how to follow up, stay visible, keep in touch with past clients, ask for a referral, or do anything with the attention already in front of them.

Having leads and knowing how to build a clientele are two different skills. One of them you can buy.

The other one you have to learn, and nobody teaches it in a weekend class. You leave certified and you still can’t fill a chair.

That gap is the whole reason I put together a guide on what a real PMU program should be setting you up for.

Alejandra started translating my curriculum into Spanish, and somewhere in the middle of it, it stopped being just a translation.

She has a real role in this now. She’s building the Spanish side of The
Lounge Academy with me.

So what’s actually getting built here is a bilingual PMU academy. Two languages, one standard.

Nobody gets a watered down version.

I don’t have a launch date and I’m not opening anything today. I just wanted you in the room while it’s being built, because most people only ever get to see the finished thing. Although our goal is early 2027 🥳

Six years ago, the dream was simple: get good at what I do and build a business that could support my family.

I don’t think I fully understood how much that dream would grow.

Today I get to walk into Microblading Lounge, Riverview FL and watch women I trust working in the same space, serving our clients, growing their own careers and helping build something that none of us could create the same way alone.

We’re all still learning. Still growing. Still showing up and doing the work every single day.

The dream just looks different now.

Different hands. Same standard. One vision.

And we’re nowhere near done. 🤎
