I can’t believe it’s almost been 7 years since I started lashing! 😱

Lashing helped me quit my corporate job, take time for my mental and physical health, help other ladies start their business, travel, be there with family during important events and I started a second business of subleasing salon suites. 3 locations later, I’m financially stable and live in my dream neighborhood 2 min away from my parents 😭

You never know what will come of your business unless you stick to it through the hard times.

I used to be in this room more than at home so I made sure I loved it.

But I also wanted to create a cozy and safe space for my clients.

A space to nap during lunch break.
A space to vent about life’s challenges.
A space to laugh and share happy moments.
A space to dream about the future.
A space to feel seen and accepted.

This space has been more than just a room where I lash. It has become a space where I connect with ladies and pray for them.

Business is never just about money. It’s about moments. It’s about impact.

Life has been crazy lately…

Got keys to our new home June 15th.

Moved in by June 19th.

Painted walls. Repaired the foundation. Repaired and customized electrical.

Left to Mexico for a week.

Came back and closed walls. Tore down walls. Put up new walls. Added a bathroom. Added a new walk-in closet…

Almost at the finish line 🙌🏼

Although this has been my dream for over 10years. It’s been exciting and draining and stressful and expensive 🤣

Wasn’t prepared to live an answered prayer 🙌🏼

I couldn’t stay at a job for longer than ONE year!!!!

I spent my 20s working at many jobs in different industries trying to find what I enjoyed doing.

I was told during job interviews that my resume showed a lack of commitment. I didn’t care. I wasn’t going to stay at a job that wasn’t fulfilling just to have a pretty resume.

Instead, I learned every job the best I could and accumulated skills that would help me start, run and grow my own business!!

7 years later, I’m so happy I listened to my intuition every time it felt like time to move on to something else.

I was good from the beginning 😏

Lie!!!! I had to put in long hours of practicing and convincing family to let me learn on them.

I cried through lashing because separating little hair with tweezers for hours is extremely difficult and painful in the beginning but I had a vision.

Something in my gut told me that I was going to be successful and I didn’t let any negative comments or “advice” deter me from what I knew I would accomplish.

Not here to sell you a lash course, I’m here to tell you to not give up when it gets hard. You owe it to yourself to see it through.

Almost 7 years in and I can’t believe how fast time has gone by. I’m living the life I dreamed of. All because I picked up some tweezers and never put them back down.
