Fun fact about your lash artist:
In 2020, I got sick with Covid pretty severely. The result of that was a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia 😰
Which is unfortunate because that’s when I had just started my journey as a lash artist. As the years pass by, my body has been progressively experiencing pain and not allowing me to work as long as I’d like to or even go out and enjoy my time out without wanting to go home and lay down.
For 6 years, doctors have given me different pain medication, antidepressants, referrals to chiropractors and everything short of telling me there’s no hope.
Last week, one of my God sent clients told me she also had fibro but went to the pain management program and healed!!!! So i advocated for myself, and got into the program. I finally have hope that I can experience a pain free life and good quality of life 😭 stay tuned for my journey 🫶🏻

7 years of being a Lash Artist.
Every once in a while, I upgrade and change things up.
Although I’m only lashing part time now, I invested in a new lash bed that will provide even more comfort to my clients.
I care about you having the best experience.
I might have also upgraded so I can take a quick nap between clients 😉
Clients return because of how they felt in your treatment room. Part of that is determined by how much thought you’ve put into your decor, lighting and comfort.

Lash artists: please educate your clients on the importance of washing their lashes wish lash cleanser.
Lash clients: please wash your lashes daily!
Lash extensions collect oils, sweat, dust, pollution, make up… you name it!!
Running your lashes under water in the shower is simply not enough. You have to use a gentle brush with lash cleanser to make sure you get everything off and maintain healthy lashes and eyes 🙌🏼
Moments become memories.
Memories are labeled as good or bad depending on your perspective.
Last night, I slept a total of 3 hours, combined. I have a fibromyalgia flare. I’m on my period. I’m fighting a cold. I haven’t had breakfast yet. We have hundreds of shirts to fold and label for church.
As we ran through pouring rain, husband dropped the roll of 2xl labels into a bush!!!🫠 then decided it was my job to get it!!!! 😂
I could’ve easily lost it and got mad. But in this moment, when everything seemed to be going against me having a good day, I decided that it was funny. So now, husband and I have this fun video of us choosing to have a good moment.
Life is about perspective. You define the moment. Choose to be happy 🫶🏻
Confession: I hate learning new things. I hate feeling dumb. I hate knowing I’m doing things wrong.
In 2017 my Boss said “when you don’t grow, you rot” and emphasized the importance of always learning and growing.
So, although I hate doing new things and looking dumb, I push myself to learn or at least try. It’s very rewarding at the end when you prove to yourself that you can do it 🙌🏼

Full disclosure: I’m not a hands-on worker. I’ve built my business next to my business partner who is strong, motivated and not afraid to get her hands dirty. I rather do all the computer work 😅
But buying this home and remodeling it to fit my dreams is getting expensive. So I decided to try and do some of the work myself. I also wanted to challenge myself.
I’m here to motivate you to do something that seems difficult or out of your comfort. You will grow in ways you’d never expect.
