This will be my LAST time addressing this. 💗

I’ve received quite a bit of backlash regarding my use of a piercing device, so I want to clarify a few things.

First, piercing guns, instruments, and hand-pressure devices have evolved over the years. The system I use is a hand-pressure medical piercing instrument, and I use earrings from a reputable piercing supplier that are sterile and specifically designed for piercing. The piercing earrings have a sharp, pointed tip rather than a dull end to help minimize unnecessary tissue trauma.

I am a licensed ear-only body piercer in Virginia and have completed the required education and training to obtain and maintain my license. I previously held a scope that included cartilage piercing as well. I take my license, infection control, sanitation, and the safety of every client who sits in my chair very seriously.

If you personally prefer needle piercings, I completely respect that! There are some AMAZING licensed needle piercers that I would happily recommend. Different clients are allowed to choose the piercing method and professional they feel most comfortable with.

I am also consistently seeking additional education and exploring proper training for needle piercing. Doing that safely, legally, and correctly is more involved than simply deciding to pick up a needle, and I refuse to take shortcuts.

I would never knowingly offer a service that I believed would intentionally harm my clients. PinkRx is a self-funded small business that I have poured an incredible amount of time, education, effort, and money into building.

You are absolutely entitled to your opinion, and respectful conversations and questions are always welcome. Disrespect is not.

Before making assumptions about the equipment or products I use, I encourage you to research the specific system or simply ask me. I am always happy to explain my process, products, training, and safety practices.

Another PinkRx birthday girl! 🎉💖

She celebrated her special day with a new pair of our Daisy Violet earrings, and of course we had to top it off with some glitter freckles for a little extra sparkle. ✨

Her older twin sisters, who I had the pleasure of piercing back in December, also stopped by for glitter freckles. Their piercings have healed beautifully, and seeing them again made my day!
