Earlier this month, our staff had the opportunity to offer hair styling and chair massages at this year’s VCU Pediatric Oncology Prom (with a carnival theme!) for children with cancer and their families. It was an amazing opportunity to bring joy and comfort to folks who really need it right now. It was such a heartwarming experience for everyone. The yearly’s oncology prom is exactly the type of volunteer opportunity that our staff love participating in, and they work hard to make a difference in any way they can ♥️

Meet Kaylee (she/they), a stylist who has been with Luminary since Dec. 2023! Kaylee specializes in gender-affirming and alternative cuts, shags, curly cuts, dimensional blonding, and color blocks! 🎨👩🏼‍🎨

FUN FACTS ABOUT KAYLEE…
1️⃣Kaylee has two sassy cats and a silly dog and she will tell you all about them if you want to hear! 🐱🐱🐶
2️⃣Before moving to Richmond, they lived in the North Carolina Appalachian mountain region for about 7 years and it is her favorite place on earth! 🌎 (She even traveled back in 2025 to get married there)
3️⃣Kaylee loves going out to drag shows, movie nights with friends, playing games with her spouse, and doing the occasional craft!
