Finish Strong: The Final Mile of 2026

BGR! Family,

Here we are, the final quarter of 2026.

And if there’s one thing I know about us, it’s that we know how to finish.

Q4 is more than the last three months of the year. It’s our opportunity to take everything we’ve learned, everything we’ve built, and everything we’ve overcome and finish 2026 stronger than we started it.

This year has already given us so much to celebrate. From miles logged and finish lines crossed to new partnerships, community moments, and the incredible energy we created together at Sweat With Your Sole, we have continued to prove what happens when Black women move, together.

But we’re not done yet. There are still goals to accomplish. Miles to run. Dreams to chase. Communities to impact. And, perhaps most importantly, there is still time to decide how we want to close this chapter.

As runners, we understand the importance of the final mile. Sometimes it’s the hardest. Sometimes you’re tired and ready for the finish line. But that’s often when you have to dig a little deeper, remember why you started, and trust the strength you’ve built along the way.

That’s where we are right now. So, as we enter Q4, I want to challenge each of us to ask:

What does finishing strong look like for me?

Maybe it means crossing a finish line. Maybe it means finally starting something you’ve been putting off. Maybe it means showing up for yourself, prioritizing your wellness, reconnecting with your community, or simply giving yourself permission to celebrate how far you’ve come.

Whatever it looks like, don’t coast to the finish.

Close the year with intention. With purpose. With gratitude. And with a little BGR! energy.

We have three months left to make an impact, create memories, support one another, and remind the world that there is power in Black women moving together.

So lace up. Lock in. And let’s finish what we started.

We’re going into Q4 strong — and we’re finishing even stronger.

Always ‘Preserve the Sexy’,

💗 BGR! Inland Empire – End of Summer Brunch 💗

As Ambassador for Black Girls RUN! Inland Empire, one of my goals has been to create opportunities for our members to connect beyond our weekly meet-ups and races. Our Sunshine, Sisterhood & Strides: End of the Summer Brunch was a beautiful reflection of that goal.

The afternoon was filled with great food, entertainment, laughter, and most importantly, genuine connection. It was wonderful to see women who have shared miles on the pavement have the opportunity to slow down, dress up, fellowship, and strengthen the relationships that make our running community so special.

Events like this remind me that BGR! is about so much more than running. It is about creating spaces where women feel encouraged, supported, welcomed, and connected.
I’m grateful to every member who joined us and continues to help build the BGR! Inland Empire community. Watching our sisterhood grow both on and off the pavement continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of serving as Ambassador.

We ended the summer with full hearts, beautiful memories, and even stronger connections as we move into the next season together.

BGR! Inland Empire — We Encourage • We Support • We Connect. 🖤💗
