I wanted to add this because I’m always recommending products during appointments, so I thought… why not make it easier and actually send you home with some of them?

Every Home Care Kit will start with a full-size professional shampoo + conditioner selected by me based on your hair and what I’m seeing during your appointment.

From there, I may include a leave-in, oil/serum, treatment or a combination of them. Some of the extras may be smaller/trial sizes so you have a chance to actually use the product at home and see how you like it before deciding if you want the full size.

And because everybody’s hair is different, every Home Care Kit may look a little different too. 🤎

I’ll also make sure you know what everything is for and how I recommend using it at home.

That’s really the whole idea behind this service, making it convenient to continue caring for your hair between appointments with products I’ve already selected for you.

I don’t use the same products on every client. What I reach for depends on your hair’s current condition, texture, and what it actually needs. Sometimes that’s extra moisture, color care, or a completely different heat protectant.
These are just a few more products I love using for my silk presses. There’s no one-size-fits-all routine over here!

Would you believe me if I told you absolutely NO bleach/lightener was used to achieve this color?

None.

BUT….heavy on the fact that she had VIRGIN HAIR.

Virgin hair means hair that has never been permanently colored or chemically lightened before. And depending on your natural starting color, we can sometimes get quite a bit of lift using permanent hair color alone.

This client naturally started around a level 3, basically a very dark brown. We were able to lift her to around a level 6, a much lighter brown, while depositing this beautiful red tone, all without bleach.

Could we go a little lighter without bleach? Uhhh Potentially! With a stronger developer, I could potentially get her around a level 7. But there is a limit to how much permanent color can lighten naturally dark hair.

If she wanted anything lighter than that, lightener/bleach would be necessary.

So when you see a color transformation that says “NO BLEACH,” keep in mind that doesn’t mean every color can be achieved on every head of hair without it.

Your natural starting color + color history + desired result determine what’s possible.
