I’ve been in the hair care world since I was 17, and along the way I’ve been blessed to learn from so many different hands and techniques that shaped how I understand healthy hair. But nothing ever stayed with me quite like one ordinary day on my way to work when I met a woman with the most beautiful natural hair I had ever seen—strong, radiant, and full of life.

When I asked her what her secret was, she simply told me she blended her own oils to keep her hair nourished and thriving. That moment shifted something in me. I took that simple wisdom home, shared it with my family, and began creating my own blends—learning, adjusting, and pouring intention into every drop.

Over time, I realized it was never just about styling hair. I’ve always had what people called “growing hands”—not only in the way I braided and cared for children’s crowns, but in the way I nurtured the health and strength beneath the strands.

Now, with that same love and intention, I’m sharing Rooted in Love with you. A collection born from experience, care, and a belief that every crown deserves to be nourished, strengthened, and deeply loved.
