A little behind-the-scenes of how I energetically prepare my space before welcoming you in. ✨🌿

Before each client arrives, and in between every appointment, I take the time to cleanse, clear, and reset the energy in my room.

Once everything is cleansed, I infuse my space and treatment table with Reiki, setting the intention to create a peaceful, grounding environment for whatever your soul may need that day.

Because every client comes in carrying something different, and I want each person to walk into a space that feels fresh, welcoming, and entirely their own. 💚✨

One of the many reasons I went into business for myself is so when major events like this happen, I can speak out about them without fear of repercussions. I’ve seen a lot of discourse over the years in my industry from other practitioners about whether or not to speak about controversial issues.

Well, I have a rebellious heart, and I have a platform.
I am a woman. I work primarily with women. And I work with sexual assault survivors. I do not have it in my blood to do nothing.
So here I am, with a lot to say.

I’ve spent the last three days doomscrolling and witnessing the horrendous commentary, from men in particular, surrounding Jane Doe. Yesterday, I finally decided to stop, re-center, and surround myself with safe people.
After I grounded back down, I started having some different thoughts besides rage.

It motivated me to dig into some research. So I alchemized my rage into something I could actually do something with.

I dig into r**e culture and how deeply normalized it actually is, the movement and the tangible changes that came from women speaking out, the growing “I Am Jane Doe” movement, and how are women de-centering men and saying:

No fu***ng more.

This one is research, rage, reflection, and ultimately, hope.
Because standing together is working. Our voices matter. And courage has a ripple effect.
