I always get asked how often I microneedle myself, and the truth is; whenever I can!
I try to commit to quarterly maintenance since one of my main goals is to prevent signs of aging, but this fall I’m going to be doing my second series. 3 treatments, 4 weeks apart. This is going to help kick my collagen into gear even more, and set my skin up for better success with the treatments I follow the series with.
But honestly? If I could, I would probably needle myself every few weeks because I love it that much.

The best sunscreen is the one you’ll use and I’ll die on that hill.
Not every SPF is formulated the same. Different UV filters, finishes, textures, and ingredients all create a completely different experience. There is a lot of talk about what makes a sunscreen great in today’s esthetics industry, but what a lot of those conversations tend to ignore is the reality that everyone has a different mindset when reaching for sunscreen.
That skinfluencer on TikTok selling you this month’s “BEST KOREAN SUNSCREEN” doesn’t care if it burns your eyes or leaves your skin pilling. Us estheticians? Yeah we care if you like your sunscreen, because it you don’t, and you chose not to wear it, we’re risking the very results you’re investing in. This is why I’m always so thrilled to send home SPF samples with clients rather than pushing whatever I think they might like. Try them out, and let me know. Don’t find one you like?
