Everyone went home with lavender and eucalyptus. Lavender for winding down, eucalyptus for opening up the breath. The research on aromatherapy is honestly still mixed, and I’ll always tell you that. But there’s something in having a scent on your desk that reminds you to stop for a second.

Four days after the workshop, she texted me.
She’d been intentional about her protein all week — and she said what made it stick was applying what already works in your strong areas to your weaker ones.
You already do something well. The discipline is there. It’s just pointed somewhere else.
We’re building a nurse-led wellness center, and this is how it starts.

I didn’t learn this from a wellness book. I learned it at bedsides, on the clock, from people with nothing left to perform. Every one of them named ordinary hours. The porch. The drive. The Saturday nobody needed anything.
It’s the reason I’m building Lily Eden — a place where being fully present isn’t something you schedule after everything else gets done. It’s also what I bring to the coaching and the workshops I teach: a simple practice, walked through together.
Start with one slow morning this week. That’s the whole practice.
There’s a kind of woman who can handle a crisis, carry a team, and hold everyone together —
but freezes at the one thing that would let her be seen.
It was never about ability. It’s about how exposed it feels to stop holding it all together and just show up as yourself.
The visibility you’re avoiding might be the exact thing waiting to grow you.
