Here’s what changed:

1. I stopped isolating my skin. Skin reflects what’s happening throughout the body; gut health, hormones, sleep, stress, and more. When those are off, your skin usually tells on you.

2. I looked at my inputs. Whole foods. Healthy fats. Fiber. Protein. Your skin is built from the nutrients you give your body. You can’t out-serum a nutrient-poor diet.

3. I prioritized hydration. Not just more water, adequate electrolytes, too. Hydration is a foundational part of healthy, resilient skin.

4. I lowered my stress. Chronic stress can contribute to inflammation and impair the skin’s ability to repair itself. This was a missing piece for me for years.

5. I started training for muscle, not just movement. Resistance training supports circulation, metabolic health, and overall tissue health. Your workout may be doing more for your skin than you realize.

6. I got serious about my skincare regimen. SPF is non-negotiable. Beyond that, I stopped treating skincare like a random collection of products and started thinking about what my skin needs consistently over time.

7. I started using in-office treatments strategically. Home care is the foundation. Treatments are how you build on it, collagen induction, resurfacing, and targeted correction. You can’t out-treat a broken foundation, but you also can’t always reach your full potential with home care alone.

8. Consistency won the race. Skin doesn’t change overnight, but it changes every day you show up for it.

Healthy skin isn’t one product, one treatment, or one quick fix. It’s the result of everything you do consistently.

If your makeup is creasing, pilling, or just never seems to sit right... it might not be your makeup at all.

Most people blame the foundation, but the real issue is often what’s happening underneath it.

Great makeup starts with healthy skin, not another trip to Sephora.

If you’ve been chasing the perfect foundation but still aren’t getting the results you want, it’s time to focus on your skin first.

Comment “PREP” and I’ll send you my favorite products and exactly how I prep skin for a smooth, flawless makeup application!!

1) Cleanse without stripping. Find a cleanser that leaves skin hydrated, not tight or stripped.

2–4x/week: add an oil cleanser + exfoliating powder to gently remove dead skin cells and smooth texture before makeup goes on.

2) Hydrate before you apply. This is where the magic happens.

My combo: Epicutis Lipid Serum + Hyvia Crème.

Your skin is your largest organ.

If you’re dehydrated, running on no sleep, skipping protein, and stressed out — your skin has zero building blocks to work with.

No serum fixes what your body isn’t supporting from the inside. Skincare starts with how you’re treating yourself as a whole.

Take your makeup off FULLY at night.

This is the step most people skip and it shows.

Double cleanse:
1️⃣ Oil cleanser first: dry hands, dry face
2️⃣ Gel or foaming cleanser second

Think of it like sweeping before you mop. You have to lift everything off first, or you’re just pushing it around.

The most magical vacation 🤍

08/12/2026

I’m going to the Grand Canyon, and I refuse to come home with evidence that I was ever in the sun!!

Between the intense sun exposure and extremely dry climate, this trip is basically a stress test for your skin. So yes, I packed as if my skin’s life depended on it.

Because protecting your skin on vacation shouldn’t mean sacrificing the vacation, it means being intentional about what you use before, during, and after all that sun.

Comment “TRAVEL,” and I’ll send you all the links to the skincare I packed so you can keep your skin protected, hydrated, and healthy while traveling, too!

Did I miss anything??

Life has been life-ing lately. 🤍

And when life gets hard, I don’t always feel my best in my own skin. I’ve caught myself avoiding photos, skipping stories, staying behind the scenes instead of in front of them.

This is the first selfie I’ve taken in a while. No filter, no makeup, no easing into it. Just me, mid-season, choosing to show up anyway.

If you’re in a hard season too: it doesn’t last forever. You’ll gain your confidence back. You’ll come out stronger. I promise. 🤍

When I started Nourish Skin & Wellness , I knew I wanted it to be different.

Not because we offer different treatments but because we approach aesthetics differently.

I never wanted patients to feel pressured into doing more. I wanted them to feel educated, cared for, and confident that every recommendation was made with their best interest in mind.

At Nourish, you’ll never be just another appointment on the schedule. And here is why...

We treat people, not trends.
We prioritize honest recommendations over sales.
Every treatment plan is completely customized.
We believe the best aesthetic work is the kind that still looks like you.

That’s the standard we’ve built Nourish on, and it’s the standard we’ll continue to keep 🤍
