The holiday season tends to put a lot of focus on looking your best, but feeling your best deserves a place in the conversation, too 🤍

Our Weight Loss + Wellness Program takes an individualized, medically supervised approach to supporting your health and wellness goals. Depending on your needs and medical history, your plan may include GLP-1 medications, peptide-based therapies, NAD+ therapy and additional wellness support.

When it comes to medical weight management, we’re focused on sustainable progress rather than a deadline on the calendar. Treatment may include ongoing monitoring, nutrition, hydration and healthy habits alongside appropriate medical therapies.

The same thoughtful approach applies across our wellness services. We’ll discuss what you’re hoping to achieve, what may be medically appropriate for you and how different options could fit into your overall plan.

During a season filled with doing, going and giving, make a little room for taking care of yourself, too. Wellness doesn’t have to wait for January.

Contact Boston Plastic Surgery to learn more about our Weight Loss + Wellness Program and available wellness services.

Breast surgery isn’t one procedure with one type of result. Depending on what you’d like to change, there are several different approaches to consider.

Breast augmentation can add or restore volume and enhance proportion. A breast lift focuses on reshaping and repositioning the existing breast tissue. For patients experiencing both volume loss and sagging, a lift may be combined with implants to address both concerns. Implant removal or replacement is also an option for patients whose needs or preferences have changed since a previous augmentation.

Choosing the appropriate procedure starts with understanding your anatomy and being clear about what you’d like to achieve. During your consultation, Dr. Samaha or Dr. Phelan will evaluate your existing breast tissue, proportions and goals before discussing the surgical options that may be appropriate for you.

If you’re considering breast surgery, schedule a consultation with our surgical team to learn more about your options 🤍

Holiday parties, winter travel, weddings and milestone events may still feel a little ways off, but certain treatments require more planning than others.

If you’re considering plastic surgery, it’s important to leave appropriate time for recovery. Swelling and bruising don’t disappear on the same timeline for every patient or every procedure, and your results will continue to settle and evolve after you’ve returned to your normal routine.

The same planning mindset applies to treatments like Sculptra. Rather than creating an immediate change, Sculptra stimulates your body’s own collagen production over time, and your recommended plan may include multiple treatment sessions.

If there’s an important date on your calendar, bring it up during your consultation. We can discuss your goals, the procedure or treatment you’re considering, and a realistic timeline that gives your body the time it needs.

Planning ahead now could make all the difference when your event arrives 🤍

Use the tools, ask the questions, and bring them to your provider. We’re always here to help you understand what’s right for you.

Some treatments are worth planning ahead for, and Sculptra is one of them 💉

Sculptra works by stimulating your body’s own collagen production, so the changes develop gradually over time. Depending on your individual goals, your treatment plan may also include a series of sessions spaced out over several months.

If you have a wedding, milestone event, or another special occasion on the calendar, starting the conversation early gives your skin and collagen time to respond.

Thinking about Sculptra? Schedule a consultation with our team at Boston Plastic Surgery & Skin + Wellness to create a treatment timeline that works for you 🤍

Body contouring is entering a new chapter with AlloClae.

AlloClae is an off-the-shelf structural adipose filler that allows us to add soft tissue volume and refine body contours without first harvesting fat through liposuction. It can be used in areas including the hips, buttocks, breasts and thighs, with applications ranging from smoothing hip dips to addressing asymmetry, implant rippling and contour irregularities.

What makes this especially exciting is the ability to focus on smaller, strategic adjustments. Sometimes improving a transition, restoring volume or refining an area of asymmetry can make a meaningful difference in the overall proportions of the body.

AlloClae also gives us another option for patients who may not want traditional fat harvesting or may not have sufficient donor fat for fat grafting.

As with any body contouring treatment, where it is placed and how much is used should be highly individualized. Our board-certified plastic surgeons evaluate your anatomy, proportions and goals to determine if AlloClae is appropriate for you.
