Happy National Sons Day. 💙💙
Massage has been a part of my life much longer than these two have. But once I became a mom, my focus shifted a little. Massage is work I love and a career I’ve spent years growing — but being their mom is the one job I know I can’t go back and do over.
These two wild and wonderful boys are a big part of why my schedule looks the way it does.
I work afternoons and evenings, and my Saturday and Sunday availability gets danced around soccer schedules, family time and all the things that come with raising two boys.
And I’m incredibly thankful for the clients who dance along with me.
Thank you for working around my sometimes unconventional availability and for supporting a small business that allows me to do work I genuinely love while still being present for the childhood happening at home.
It’s often a very fine line I dance — being present for my family, showing up fully for my clients, growing a business, and somehow trying to leave a little space for myself in there too.
The years are moving quickly. I know there will come a time when they don’t need quite so much of me. For now, I’m grateful I get to be both — their mom and your massage therapist.
And even if these two are taking a few years off my life 😂, I wouldn’t trade the boy mom life for anything.
Today I’m feeling especially grateful for these two boys who made me a mom, for work that continues to mean so much to me, and for every client who has given me the grace and flexibility to keep dancing that fine line.
Thank you for making space for me to be both. 💙

🍂 Welcoming the Fall Equinox 🍂
I caught this beautiful visitor gathering some of the last nectar of the season. 🦋
I’m always thankful for this little stray patch of clover that I leave growing — partly because I love getting to watch the bees, butterflies and other pollinators in action. There’s something special about watching nature respond to the changing season in its own time.
And now, we begin our own transition.
The Fall Equinox brings us to that beautiful point of balance — nearly equal parts light and dark — before we gradually begin turning inward.
In Chinese medicine, autumn belongs to the Metal element, associated with the Lungs and Large Intestine. It is a season of gathering inward, letting go, creating boundaries, and supporting the body's protective energy as the air becomes cooler and drier.
But before we rush fully into Metal season, I’ve been thinking about the element that comes before it: Earth.
In the Five Element generating cycle, Earth is the mother of Metal.
There’s a principle within Chinese medicine that I love: when the child needs support, sometimes we nourish the mother.
Earth — associated with the Spleen and Stomach — is connected with nourishment, digestion, grounding, and our ability to take in what we need. When Earth is well supported, it helps nourish the Metal element that follows.
Maybe that is a good reminder for this time of year: before asking ourselves to keep producing, pushing and adapting, we may need to make sure we are actually being nourished.
🍐 Foods for the transition into fall can be simple, warm and grounding:
Root vegetables, squash and pumpkin
Sweet potatoes and carrots
Oats, rice, millet and other cooked grains
Apples and pears — especially cooked or stewed
Soups, broths and slow-cooked meals
Ginger, cinnamon and other gently warming spices
Beans and lentils
White foods traditionally associated with Metal, such as pears, radish, cauliflower and turnip
As the weather becomes cooler and drier, it can be a lovely time to begin shifting away from an abundance of cold, raw foods and toward meals that feel warm, cooked and nourishing.
This seasonal transition feels particularly relevant for me this year.
Life has felt a little out of balance lately, and over the weekend my immune system took a little dive. It felt like my body reminding me to pay attention to some of the same things I encourage others to do every day.
So I’m turning toward some simple practices: warm broth, dry brushing, nourishing foods, hydration and resting when I can. Nothing elaborate — just trying to do a better job of tending to myself, too.
There is something fitting about entering a season associated with letting go while remembering that we need enough nourishment underneath us to do so.
Just like that little patch of clover still offering nourishment to the last butterflies of summer, perhaps we can remember to leave a little nourishment for ourselves, too. 🦋🍂
Nourish the Earth. Support the Metal.
Gather inward. Let go of what is no longer needed.
And make a little more room for rest.
Happy Fall Equinox. 🤎

Such a sweet surprise from a client today. 💐🤍
I genuinely appreciate these thoughtful gestures more than I can say. The flowers are beautiful, but it’s the kindness behind them that stays with me.
I have a lot to be thankful for.
The flowers, thoughtful gestures, kind words, meaningful conversations, referrals, and simply continuing to trust me with your care—all of it means more than you probably realize.
I’m blessed to include my clients in my village, and in many ways, to be included in theirs too. There’s something really special about the connections that grow through this work.
Thank you for the beautiful flowers today, and thank you to all of my clients for the many different ways you continue to support me and the work that I love. 🤍🌻

I’ve been a little quiet here on Facebook lately. 🤍
Transitioning back into the school year, soccer season, and everything that comes with the last stretch of summer—yellow jacket stings, car maintenance, shifting routines, and even the recent planetary changes and moon phases—has had me swirling a bit, while also reminding me to find ways to anchor.
And, as always, I find so much of that grounding in this work.
Thank you for continuing to keep my schedule busy and for trusting me to hold space for you. I’m incredibly grateful that part of my workday means stepping into a dark, quiet room, turning on beautiful music, slowing things down, and helping another person find a little more ease in their body.
Sometimes I think this work grounds me just as much as I hope it grounds the people on my table.
Today brings us into a new moon phase—a beautiful time to clear a little space, release what feels heavy or no longer needs our energy, and make room for positive things to come our way. 🌑✨
Today, I’m lighting a candle for all of us—to welcome positive energy, new possibilities, and whatever good may be finding its way toward us. 🕯️
May we clear a little space for what we’re ready to receive. 🤍
Life doesn’t always slow down for us. Sometimes we have to intentionally create the space to slow down within it.
Here’s to finding our anchors, making a little room, and staying open to what comes next.
Thank you for continuing to choose me as part of that space. 🤍

A little bit of massage & relaxation heading out into our community. 🤍🌿
I put together two raffle baskets, each including a 60-minute massage with me, along with a few little extras.
⛳ One will be heading to Team Harrison’s Annual Golf Outing on Friday, September 11th, helping support their efforts to raise funds for pediatric cancer support.
👜 The other will be heading to Pride of Quakertown’s “What’s in the Bag?” Bingo on Sunday, September 27th, helping support their scholarship program, which gives local children opportunities to participate in extracurricular and enrichment activities.
I’m always happy when my work gives me an opportunity to give back in some small way. 🤍 I’m grateful to contribute to two organizations doing meaningful things for children and families in our community.
And, of course, I hope whoever takes these baskets home enjoys a little time set aside just for themselves. 🌿
Wishing both organizations successful events — and good luck to everyone attending!
I think Team Harrison’s Golf outing - the Registration is over, but i’ll posy the link for POQ’s event below in the comments!

At the end of this week, I’m feeling really grateful for the clients I work with. 🤍
Lately, I’ve received kind messages, beautiful words about my work, thoughtful reviews, and little gestures that have meant more to me than people probably realize.
A client shared a heart rock with me from The Heart Rock Guy, and the kind words attached to it were especially meaningful. I think we should all check out The Heart Rock Guy and put a little more of that kindness into the world. 🤍
I care deeply about the work I do and the people who trust me with their care. Life can leave me feeling pretty spread thin sometimes, and these sweet reminders that what I’m doing is felt and valued really help reinforce my belief in this work and why I continue to do it.
So, thank you—for trusting me, for sharing your experiences, for recommending me to others, and for the thoughtful words and gestures along the way. They matter. 🌿
I’m also very thankful for a weekend to recharge because that full moon on Thursday kind of zapped me. 😂🌕
Interestingly, I was born during a new moon phase. 🌑 Astrologically, people born during a new moon are sometimes described as intuitive, inwardly sensitive, and particularly attuned to subtle shifts and new beginnings. Maybe there’s something to that. ✨
How did the Full Moon in Pisces treat you? 🌕♓️

🌿 A gentle scheduling reminder
I’m doing my best to accommodate everyone who reaches out for an appointment, and I’m incredibly grateful to have so many of you choosing to spend part of your time with me. 🤍
At the moment, I am booking September 13th and beyond for appointments.
If you’re hoping to come in sooner, please feel free to reach out. I’m happy to add you to my cancellation/waitlist and will contact you if something opens up.
For my regular clients, I also encourage you to schedule ahead based on how often you prefer to be seen—whether that’s weekly, every few weeks, or monthly. Booking your next appointment (or a few appointments) in advance is the best way to make sure you have a time that works well for you.
I will always do my best to accommodate when I can, while also maintaining a schedule that allows me to give each person the thoughtful, unrushed care they deserve.
Thank you for keeping my little practice so well loved and supported. 🌿🤍

A little care for the person who does the caring. 🌿
Thank you to Rachel Shusterman of Greater Philly Community Acupuncture for my treatment yesterday here in Quakertown.
I value caring for myself quite a bit—not only because of the work I do, but because I believe we all function a little better when we have places where we can simply receive care for a while. You can sit with your acuouncture treatment for 20 minutes, an hour or maybe a little longer. I genuinely appreciate the quiet moment away from the kids and some restorative care… sorry if I snore a little 🤣🤣🤣.
One of the things I appreciate about community acupuncture is how accessible and easy it makes that kind of care. You can settle in, get comfortable, and let your body have some time to rest while the needles do their work. 🤍
For my local clients who have been curious about acupuncture, Rachel is currently offering community acupuncture in Quakertown every third Wednesday of the month, and she’ll likely be adding another monthly treatment day sometime this fall. She practices in other places within Bucks County other days of the week.
I’m always happy when I can share good local resources with the people I work with—and I’m especially happy to have this one right here in Quakertown.
Thank you for taking care of me, Rachel. 🌿

A little something for the week ahead. 🤍
It’s Monday.
Maybe you’re starting the week feeling rested and ready.
Maybe you’re already looking at the calendar wondering how everything is going to fit.
Or maybe you’re somewhere in between.
As both a mom and a massage therapist, I think a lot about how easy it is to spend our days caring, doing, working, and moving on to the next thing.
So whatever kind of week you’re walking into, I hope there are little pockets of ease waiting for you in it.
A meal you really enjoy.
A good conversation.
Five quiet minutes in the car.
A laugh you weren’t expecting.
A moment outside when the air feels just right.
Rest doesn’t always have to be something we earn after everything else is finished.
Sometimes it can simply be woven into the life we’re already living.
Here’s to finding a little of it this week. 🤍
Happy Monday, friends.
