In a few weeks I’m getting the opportunity to take my children to NYC for the first time, to visit the 9/11 Memorial, show them my college and the view I once had of the twin towers from my campus.

I graduated from USMMA in June 2001 and had just traveled back from Jakarta, Indonesia (after taking a container ship to a shipyard there) hours before the first plane hit. I felt numb and confused and so sad why there was so much hatred to carry out such an evil act?

It is important to keep history present and teach my children the hatred of some, the bravery of others and how truly united we came during that time.

My LAST market of the season! This Saturday, 9-2, at the PMSA Puyallup Farmers Market

This has been a great season for me at this market! To be one of the 150 amazing vendors who all either make or grow their products within Washington State.
