Achieving optimal health with advanced laboratory testing, imaging and scientifically based nutrition

We believe that we should not strive for average, but excellence. We want our clients to put themselves first and to optimize their health so they can pursue excellence in the rest of their lives. Our job is to help you be your best version of you... whatever that goal may be. For some, the goal is to lose 100 lbs or 5 lbs, and for others it is to run their fastest marathon in their 5th decade or run their first 5k. Our expectation is to help each client stay true to their commitment to themselves and their families to be their best today and tomorrow.

Personalized care shouldn't come with a surprise price tag. 🌿

One of the most overlooked benefits of concierge medicine is that we work for you, not an insurance company. That frees us to shop around on your behalf.

At P3, we often find lower cash prices on labs and medications than you'd pay through a standard copay or pharmacy counter. Many common prescriptions and panels cost a fraction of their retail price when you know where to look, and we make it our job to look.

Most people have no idea this screening even exists. πŸ“¬

A major 2026 study followed more than 376,000 adults ages 60–69 in Sweden for up to 14 years β€” and those who were invited to regular at-home stool testing (and actually completed it) were 43% less likely to die of colorectal cancer than those who weren't screened.

Colonoscopy is still the first-choice recommended screening. But an at-home test is a strong, accessible option too β€” especially if you keep putting off a colonoscopy. The key is doing it every time it's due, not just once.

Not sure which screening option fits your age and risk level? Ask us at your next visit.

🀝🀝Your handshake might be predicting your lifespan πŸ‘€

Meet our new hand grip dynamometer! It may look like a simple squeeze test, but grip strength is one of the most powerful (and underrated) markers of how well you’re aging.

Research links lower grip strength to higher risk of heart disease, loss of muscle mass, falls, and even shorter lifespan. It’s a quick, noninvasive window into your overall muscle health, and something we can actually improve with the right strength training, nutrition, and hormone support.

Come join us for the next lecture in our monthly series! With our AMAZING Dr. Schuster.

β€’ Realistic strategies for holiday meals, parties, and travel, built around balance rather than restriction
β€’ How stress, sleep, and blood sugar drive holiday weight gain, and simple ways to stay ahead of them
β€’ How peptide therapy may support your goals when paired with healthy habits and medical guidance

Peptides to consider:

β€’ GLP-1 therapies: support appetite regulation, fullness, and blood sugar balance
β€’ Tesamorelin: studied for its effect on stubborn abdominal fat
β€’ CJC-1295/Ipamorelin: support natural growth hormone release, which plays a role in metabolism, lean muscle, and recovery
β€’ MOTS-c: a mitochondrial peptide being studied for metabolic health and energy

Every patient is different. Whether peptides are right for you depends on your health history, labs, and goals, and is always decided with your provider.

Arrive early for our Open House to meet the P3 team, tour the office, and ask questions. Seating is limited.

Plot twist: One of the best things you can do for your heart might already be between you and the parking lot. πŸͺœ

A 2026 analysis of more than 480,000 people found regular stair climbers were 39% less likely to die of cardiovascular disease, and 24% less likely to die of any cause, over 14 years of follow-up.

It's not proof that stairs alone did it β€” people who take the stairs often have other healthy habits too. But it's one more reason to skip the elevator when you can (and if joint or mobility issues make that hard, there are other ways to get a similar benefit β€” ask us).

Yes. This.

Big news for anyone who's been told to just push through perimenopause: in 2026, the FDA approved removing the boxed warning on menopausal hormone therapy that's been in place since 2002.

That warning shaped two decades of caution. Newer research shows the picture is more nuanced β€” risk looks different depending on your age, timing, and how the hormone is delivered. This isn't a blanket green light (hormone therapy still isn't recommended to prevent heart disease), but it is more room for a real, individualized conversation.

Want to understand what this actually means for you? Dr. Allison is covering it live.
