Cosmic Otter Massage Therapy

The method of massage that I use has 3 aims:

1) Support functional movement.

That means I want your body to do the things. If you need to pick up kids, I want you to be able to do that. If you need to be on your feet for extended periods, I want you to be able to do that. If you are an athlete, I want you to be able to do your sport with ease and comfort.

2) Relieve pain.

When you are in a body that is experiencing chronic muscle tension, it can get discouraging. I want you to feel good in your body. Life looks better when your body feels better.

3) Restore circuitry and flow.

So many systems are impacted by muscles--blood vessels, nerves, lymph structures, the skeleton. When the muscles are relaxed, all those other structures and systems experience greater ease.
