Fowler Farm and Homestead Store

A friend brought me a bunch of tomatoes so we bartered. Italian sauce it is! The house smelled so good!

Vegetable soup with chicken stock. Only 5 ingredients came from the store. The rest from our farm. After it’s all cooked, the chicken will be canned separately from the vegetable soup. Several meals, one full day. It’s a lot of work but knowing where your food is coming from and that there are minimal ingredients is half the battle.
“And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God.” Ecclesiastes 3:18 NLT

Canned pumpkin today. Can’t wait to make some pumpkin pies!!!

98% from our garden! Scrambled egg bake. With goat milk, dehydrated spinach, beetroot powder, green onion, and cayenne pepper. All this from our farm. And it’s healthy for you!
Praise God for the provisions!

Well it was just a matter of time before I posted something like this. Both of these jars contain dehydrated carrots, one came from our farm and the other from a farmers market about 45 minutes from us, who buys their vegetables from out of state. Both processed in May this year. Can you guess which one was lab grown or filled with chemicals? Let me add that the carrots we bought from the farmers market were big and beautiful. Know where your food is coming from.
