Emergency Nurses appreciation week kicked off yesterday. As a Trauma Intervention Program of Greater Portland volunteer I have had the opportunity to watch in awe the incredible work they do in an incredibly tough job. As volunteers, we support survivors of tragic events a few times each month, but these ER nurses do this every day. They treat their patients, support the families, care for the sick and injured, save lives and witness some really upsetting things. I am thankful that our TIP volunteers take advantage of this week each year to honor and thank these nurses for the hard work that they do. I always enjoy dropping off treats for them and the opportunity to say thank you. TIP appreciates ER Nurses.
👑 I am so excited, thrilled, honored and incredibly grateful to officially sign on as the 2027 Mrs Maine!! (USA Ambassador MASP) The USA AMBASSADOR MAINE | MASP pageant never disappoints and offered another first class three day state competition. I had so much fun seeing old friends, and making new ones. I was honored to win the Passion To Progress Award, which gave me a chance to share information about TIP (Trauma Intervention Program). I also received my gold service pin for over 1000 hours of community service. Two weeks in, and Nationals preparations are already underway. Stay tuned for more on my road to Nationals , service opportunities, and all things Mrs Maine-ish! Let’s do this!!!

State pageant weekend is in full swing. Such a privilege to be a part of this incredible family

It’s hard to believe it is pageant week already and my time as Mrs Maine is almost up!!! Here is a little count down and of course I am a day behind 🤦♀️. Best hype for me is: Boss Bi$ch by Doja Cat 💃 and fav pageant day snack has to be my sour patch watermelon 🍉

As the time draws near for me to give up my crown, I’ve been thinking about what the next step will be and as I look back on my 25 years of pageant experience, the one thing that sticks with me the most has been working with all of the young women, and watching them become the best version of themselves. This year has been probably one of the deepest soul searches of my life, and I truly believe I have found my purpose.
