As of today, August 1st, we are officially ending our flower harvest for the season. Every blossom remaining on our Oregon-grown gardenia bushes is being granted safe passage to fulfill its biological destiny: setting fruit.

Most people only know gardenias for their intoxicating white petals. But in high-level molecular chemistry and botanical extraction, the fruit (Gardenia jasminoides) is where the plant hides its most potent biological weapons.
