Everything I have the ability to build, create, and accomplish comes from God. 🤍
Deuteronomy 8:18 is such a beautiful reminder that while we may put in the work, it’s God who gives us the strength, the gifts, the ideas, and the opportunities.
I never want to get so caught up in what I’m building that I forget Who gave me the ability to build it in the first place.
Stay humble. Stay grateful. Keep God at the center.
It all comes from Him. 🙏🏽
Heal The Industry
POV: you realize you’re living in things you once prayed for. 🥹🤍
I get to do hair.
I get to build teams and pour into people.
I get to educate and be part of healing an industry I love so much.
I get to build a hair extension line that started as an idea and became something real.
But more than anything, I get to build it all with God.
With my Bible open.
With my faith leading me.
With a willingness to follow even when I don’t fully understand where He’s taking me yet.
And somehow… it all connects.
Hair. People. Leadership. Education. Healing. Creating. Faith.
It hasn’t always looked the way I thought it would. There have been plenty of pivots, hard seasons, closed doors and moments where I’ve had to completely surrender MY plan.
But looking around now, I can see His hand in all of it.
I’m still building. Still dreaming. Still becoming. But I’m also learning to stop long enough to realize…
I’m living some of the dreams I used to pray for.
And I’m so grateful I didn’t have to figure out the way on my own. 🤍🙏
I think sometimes we put so much pressure on ourselves to have it all figured out.
To heal faster.
To move on.
To know what’s next.
To be further along than we are.
But I’m learning there’s a lot of growth that happens when we stop trying to rush the process.
Take the break.
Set the boundary.
Feel what you need to feel.
Forgive.
Let go.
And give yourself some grace while God is still working.
You don’t have to force what He’s asking you to trust Him with. 🙌🏻

A new week doesn’t always need MORE of what you ARE going to do but focusing on the things you are NOT going to do.
Clear boundaries will move you so much further faster without losing yourself in the process!

You were never meant to carry it all. 🤍
The pressure.
The worry.
The need to have it all figured out.
Jesus simply says, “Come to me.”
Not when you have it together.
Not when you’ve found the answer.
Right now, exactly as you are.
There is rest in surrender.
There is peace in His presence.
There is freedom in realizing you don’t have to carry what He’s asking you to give to Him. 🙏🏻
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

The more I lead, the more I realize I can’t lead people from something I don’t actually LIVE.
I can read all the books.
Listen to all the podcasts.
Go to all the leadership events.
Learn all the right things to say…
But eventually, those things have to become part of WHO I AM.
Because leadership requires certainty.
Not certainty that I’m always right.
But certainty in what I believe.
What I stand for.
What my values are.
What I’m building.
What I will and won’t compromise.
And most importantly, who God has called me to be while I’m building it.
Because when I’m uncertain in myself, everything around me has the ability to shake me.
Someone disagrees… I question myself.
Someone pushes back… I move the boundary.
Someone leaves… I question the entire vision.
I’ve learned I can’t lead like that.
I want to be teachable AND grounded.
Open to correction AND certain in my values.
Willing to change my methods without constantly changing who I am.
I don’t want to just TALK about integrity, consistency, ownership, faith and stewardship.
I want to LIVE those things so deeply that they’re naturally how I lead.
Because before we can ask an industry to heal…
before we can ask our teams to grow…
before we can ask the people around us to change…
We have to be willing to go first.
Healing starts with the leader. 🤍

Accountability isn’t punishment.
It isn’t control.
And it isn’t your leader expecting something from you that you never agreed to.
Healthy accountability says:
“You told me this mattered to you. You told me you wanted this career. I believe you can do it, so I’m not going to let you quietly walk away from the commitment you made to yourself.”
That is leadership.
And that is how we help people win.

Care for self. 1 Corinthians3:16-17
Care for your soul. 3 John 1:2
Care for others. Romans 12:13
Care for the promise. Hebrews 11:1
Because when we are intentional about what God has entrusted to us, we are able to rise, shine, and walk fully in what He has called us to. 🤍
What a beautiful reminder today: take care of what He has given you, so you can pour out what He has placed within you.
Today’s Arise & Shine Women Leaders left me with my cup overflowing and so much powerful truth being shared! God is so miraculous in His design and intention in everyone’s testimony! So grateful to bare witness and expand my community of God fearing women moving obediently in the direction God is leading them in their lives 🙌🏻
